"You think my mom is going to be okay?" Khalil said, as he looked in the mirror. Reyna looked at him through the mirror. This was the most he had said in the past week. Reyna was currently getting him and Kyler ready for bed.

After getting everything she could from her house they were now all settled into Tony's townhome.

"What makes you think she won't?" She asked, she didn't know how to really answer his question cause she had her doubts as well. "Cause I heard those doctors saying she might not make it." He mumbled, causing Reyna to sigh. Reyna kneeled down making Khalil look towards her.

"I promise you everything is going to be alright. The doctors don't always have the last word. God does and as long as you believe in him you're good." She said, as she kissed his forehead. Khalil nodded giving Reyna a hug.

"Don't leave me Rey." He said, Reyna almost wanted to break into pieces at his words.

"I won't Khalil." She said, as she held him tightly. Kyler had seen the two hugging and decided to join in. "I want a hug too Rey." She said, causing Reyna to smile before pulling her into a hug.

"C'mon. It's time for y'all to get in bed." She said, as she stood up. Walking them out of the spacious bathroom that was attached to the spacious bedroom. Tony's home was beautiful everything was a white finish. The bathroom floors were white tile and the walls were white with granite backsplash. The bedroom floors were hardwood.

As she helped them into the large bed. She quickly put on the Disney+ App that was on the TV handing Khalil the remote while Kyler grabbed her IPad. She walked out the bedroom leaving them. As she walked down the hall of the second level of the home she walked towards the staircase that led her to the first level. Tony's town house had three levels. Four bedrooms and Four and half bathrooms. His home was beyond beautiful.

Walking into the kitchen her feet hit the white tile floors. She went straight towards his fridge. Seeing he ain't have much of nothing just juice and water. She grabbed the Simply Lemonade which was Strawberry Lemonade. Grabbing herself a glass she rinsed it out. Hearing the door that led to the garage open and close, Tony walked in. As he walked in he seen her pouring herself something to drink.

"You ain't got much of nothing in that fridge." Reyna said, as she looked up at Tony. He waved her off and shook his head. "I don't be having company like that. We could have stopped at the store. I asked did you want too." He said, as Reyna brought the drink up to her lips

"Having company shouldn't have nothing to do with you buying food. You don't eat?" She asked, causing him to chuckle and shake his head. "I'm barely here. I'm always moving around so I just get something to eat on the way home." He said.

"Still the same Tony. How long you plan on staying in Houston?" She asked, as she looked at him. She placed her glass in the sink before she began washing it. "I'm here permanently. Ain't shit for me back home." He said, causing her to nod.

"Thank you for letting us stay here tonight." She said, as he waved her off. "It ain't nun' baby girl. Y'all welcome to stay long as y'all want." He said, as she gave him a small smile.

"I'm bringing them too their grandmother and I have work I gotta pay bills." She said, as she shrugged her shoulders and shook her head. As much as she didn't want to go back to work she needed too. She was saving up for a new car her 2008 Honda Accord was always giving her trouble.

"If you ever need anything Rey. Lemme know." He said, causing Reyna to nod her head. Reyna ain't like all that pity shit but she knew Tony was being genuine. She just didn't like to ask for no handouts which is why she would rather figure shit out on her own then ask anybody for help.
