THREE WEEKS LATER,

Just like clockwork, three weeks had came and gone since everything went down. Gino was able to do as he pleased now with no restrictions. Being that he was now fully healed.

He was no longer sporting the arm sling that he had been wearing for the past few weeks. But if you knew Gino then you knew that shit wasn't holding him back. Regardless of anything Gino was gone hustle from sun up to sun down. That shit was in his blood. He was going to get him by any means.

Lil Wayne's 'Comfortable' blared through his 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS speakers, while he cruised through the streets of the Third Ward of Houston.

"Feeling irreplaceable listen to Beyonce. Well, okay, I'll put you out on your B-day." He rapped, while bobbing his head too the music, his right hand was on the steering wheel and his left hand held a blunt in between his fingers.

Riding through the hood making his daily rounds. It was the first of the month which was good in a sense. Everybody collected their government assistance checks and was bringing it straight to Gino.

Just for a temporary high. Gino ain't give a fuck about what they were doing with the money long as they had it upfront.

Making a smooth left turn around the corner his eyes couldn't help but fall on the beauty who walked down the sidewalk. Her pretty skin glowed under the beaming rays of the sun. Her hips swayed, with one foot infront the other. Quickly noticing that beauty, was Reyna. He couldn't help but smirk to himself. Letting his window down with the press of a button.

"You need a ride baby girl?!" Gino teased, as he held a small smirk on his face. Reyna couldn't help but roll her eyes before looking over at Gino who leaned out the drivers side window of the clean ass old school. She couldn't deny it she was glad Gino had rolled up on her. The sun was beating down the block. It was way too hot.

"You offering?" She asked, her hand was placed on her hip as she looked over at him. He looked real good today from what she could see but that was every day if you asked her. Gino always kept that shit clean cut. She found him attractive but the only thing she was trying to attract was his money.

Reyna hated that she decided to walk to the shop. She didn't expect the temperature to sky rocket how it did.

A small smile graced his face. He parked the car in the middle of the street before opening his door. Stepping out. He dusted the few ashes that fell upon him while he was in the car and pulled up his pants.

Walking around his car towards the passenger side he opened the door. Reyna shook her head before playfully rolling her eyes. She ain't hesitate to walk towards the car. She couldn't bare to walk in this heat anymore.

Sliding in the car with ease the cool air hit her. She sighed at the feeling of it. Gino closed the door behind her before getting back into the car himself. Putting the car in drive. He continued driving and now towards Reyna's apartment.

"How come I still ain't got your number?" He asked, he looked towards Reyna who sat in the passenger basking in the cool air that blowed directly on her.

"Who fault is that?" She said, while shrugging her shoulders. Over the past three weeks Gino had been giving Reyna rides here and there along side of sending her flowers once a week but still had yet to get her number.

She really ain't want him hitting her line like that.

Gino chuckled. She had smart ass mouth. He noticed it each and every encounter. Reyna was sweet but her words were slick. It was something he wasn't used to but he liked it.
