It wasn't nothing like finding yourself between a rock and hard place especially when there wasn't anything you could do about it. Mia knew damn well she had no business being here but peer pressure was a motherfucker. She had a problem with letting others easily influence her. She wasn't dumb just naive. As Money Man's 'LLC' blared through the speakers of the home. The music could be heard from down the street but it wouldn't be any complaints being that it was located in the Third Ward of Houston.
Everything about this was Houston to the T. Niggas coming through in the candy painted old schools trying to see who had the biggest slabs. White styrofoam cups were doubled as weed lingered in the air. While girls were trying to get chose. The house was filled with college students that either attended Texas Southern or Prairie View A&M. It wasn't a surprised how packed it was but it was a definitely a surprise on how all these people were able to fit inside this little ass house.
She had been awaiting the day to experience her first college party and now that day was finally here. She honestly felt like they could have kept all this shit. The crowd of people and the stares she received wasn't something she was too fond of. Luckily she took her medication so her anxiety was the least of her worries tonight.
Her back to the wall as she wore a Off-White cropped varsity bomber jacket. Underneath she wore a black Naked Wardrobe dress that complimented her slim petite figure. She wore black Givenchy Shark Lock Suede Ankle Boots. The Alexander Wang lunch bag clutch was in her hand along with the red Solo cup she had been babysitting all night. She wasn't sure of what was in the cup being that it was given to her so she opted out on not drinking. She didn't drink at all so obviously she wasn't missing out on much.
Fighting the urge to pick at her hands. Thinking back to how BG looked at her, she knew he noticed and wondered did anybody else notice as well.
"I told you if you come your ass to this party with me don't be boring and look at you." Her friend, Erica said. You could take a girl out the hood but you couldn't take the hood out of the girl.
"Bitch you could have stayed at home." Erica said, as she continued to go on.
"Girl shut the fuck up." Adrienne said, as she looked towards Erica. If it was one thing Adrienne couldn't stand that would be Erica. Adrienne really wasn't a bothered person but it was something about Erica that annoyed her. She didn't understand why Mia considered anyone like her a friend. The bitch wasn't nothing but a hater in her eyes. She liked messing with others to boost her ego.
Erica looked towards Adrienne rolling her eyes. She knew better than to say anything to her though. Adrienne had been awaiting the day to lay Erica's ass out. She only spared her on the strength of Mia.
"You want to come outside?" Erica asked, as she looked Mia up and down. She didn't feel the need to ask the both of them being that Adrienne wasn't her friend neither was she here with her. Erica invited Mia to the party only for Mia to tell Adrienne and of course she wasn't going to let her friend go alone especially not with Erica. She was a grimy ass bitch.
Mia nodded.
The two followed behind Erica as they squeezed their way through the thick crowd of people, that covered every square footage of the home. The way people jumped around she was sure that the floor would cave in just off the heavy impact alone. As they made their way outside people were scattered everywhere. The real party was outside what they were just in didn't have shit on this. The D-Boys stood looking clean from head to toe. Women wore the shortest piece of clothing they could find; Erica definitely fit right in with the crowd.
"Waddup Erica?" Mia's eyes fell on the person infront of them. A bottom row of golds, he had a peanut butter skin tone, a single tennis chain hung round his neck. A silver Audemars Piguet around his wrist and a diamond tennis bracelet. He had a low cut fade and he stood tall with a lanky figure. He was tatted bad as well.
