"Ain't got shit for a nigga. I ain't frontin shit." He says coolly but he meant business. Niggas were always looking to get fronted. He was doing them and himself a favor sparing they livelihood and his time that he didn't have to waste. "If he could bring me two bands up front then I'll front him. If he can't I don't want to talk."

Everybody was dividing and picking sides. Between Trell and Gino everybody was trying to run with the two. Bitches was trying to get wifed up. You didn't know who to trust.

As Gino grabbed the duffel bag from Bishop's hand he placed it on the table, unzipping it seeing it was filled with stacks of money. Bishop was somebody Gino found trustworthy besides Diego and Brandon. Gus gone he didn't have nobody to fall back on which is why he watched who he kept around him.

"When you was gone tell me you seeing Mia?" Gino says coolly. Hope you didn't think Gino would let things happen right under his nose? Never that. He was a very clever man. He knew Mia spent the weekend of her birthday with him. He spending her weekends by him. He knew about it all he was just waiting but nobody had yet to say anything.

"I'm not mad I feel a lil disrespected. I keep you around me and you seeing somebody that I look at as my own." He says as he counts the money before placing a rubber band around it. "I would say this I'm glad it's you and not anybody else but what's your intentions with her. You young and she is too."

"You got every right to feel disrespected but I didn't mean no harm behind it. It ain't no excuse as to why I didn't let you know so I'm not even gone sit up here and tell you something just so I could save my ass. I know I'm young, we young but I like Mia, a lot." He says as the two looks at each other.

Gino knew he was telling the truth about him liking Mia. The look in his eyes told him everything he needed to know. Unless he was just a good ass liar.

Despite him not talking to Mia in two days, it didn't change the way he felt about her. He was busy and the lil time he did have it wouldn't be enough for her he wanted to give her all of his attention. He just didn't know how but he was learning.

"I respect that. She been through a lot don't go adding on if you ain't ready. No matter how much you like her." He says as Bishop nods. Gino was once his age and he knew how a young nigga who was in streets could be. You didn't know how to prioritize your time, women throwing themselves at you left and right.

Gino just didn't want Mia getting hurt. Even though it was bound to happen, probably not with or somebody else of that matter. He just needed Bishop to understand she was a delicate and he should treat her as such and if he wasn't ready leave her be. His ringing phone pulled him away from what he was doing, he looked down at the screen seeing it was Reyna.

"Talk to me baby girl." He says coolly as he held the phone up to his ear with his shoulder. Continuing to count the money.

"I just left from seeing Lyric." She said. He could hear the hatred and hurt from her tone. When Reyna got that call that her mother was released this morning, he was the first to know, he even offered to come with her but it was something Reyna wanted to do on her own.

"It's like I want to hate her so bad but I can't." She started off as her voice cracks. "As much as I don't want nothing to do with her I can't do her like that cause I'm really all she has. Even though she always put her needs and wants before mine I can't find it in me to do that. She hurt me but I'm willing to do everything to make sure she's okay." She says.

"Count this up." He mouths to Bishop who nods. He then walks outside. You gotta good heart baby girl and that's fine but don't let her or nobody else take advantage of it. You gone have a soft for her cause that's your mother. I know you feel it shouldn't be that way cause of the fucked up shit she did. At the end of the day family all we got. You just gotta love her at a distance. Put her where she belong and move accordingly." He says while watching the kids in the neighborhood get off the bus.
