"When were you going to tell me that you and Ahmir are messing around?" Erica questions Mia.
The two young women happened to be getting ready for tonight's party. Erica made her way to her friend's home.
"We're not." Mia states calmly, as she was seated at the vanity in her bedroom.
"Bitch stop lying." Erica smirks. "My cousin is a waitress at Forget Me Not she told me she was y'all server."
Mia tucked her bottom lip in between her teeth. She didn't want anybody to know about her and Ahmir especially Erica. She talked entirely too much.
She didn't want anyone to mistake their friendship for anything more. She knew Ahmir was attracted to her and she started taking a liking to him as well but she wouldn't dare cross that line with him simply because of how deeply she felt about Bishop.
Mia knew their friendship would only cause problems in the long run but she will deal with that whenever the time comes or if the time ever comes and hopefully that was never.
"It's nothing like that." Mia shrugs her shoulders.
Erica smacks her lips.
"Girl please, Chauncey already told me y'all be conversing." Erica lied. Chauncey didn't tell her anything cause he didn't know anything. Ahmir didn't like anybody in his business as well.
Ahmir happened to only do business with Chauncey being that they were cousins. In his opinion Chauncey talked entirely too much and especially to Erica. The young girl had Chauncey sprung.
Ahmir and Chauncey only talked about things that were relative when it came to them doing business together.
Mia didn't say anything she continued lining her lips with Charlotte Tilbury Foxy Brown.
"What if Bishop finds out? Everybody knows everybody in Houston. You never know who you'll see. You can't be moving like that." Erica says.
Erica was only telling the truth but Mia wasn't trying to hear that simply because she felt like she had nothing to worry about. She wasn't doing anything wrong in her eyes.
"He isn't cause there isn't anything to find out we just went out for lunch on break and that's it. We don't even talk like that." Mia says as she turns around to look at Erica.
Erica smirks.
"Well you better hope he doesn't especially since Alexis is back." Erica says as she looks towards Mia.
Mia was confused she didn't know about any ex girlfriends of Bishop. Especially this Alexis person, Erica had spoken of.
"Who?"
"He never told you about Alexis?" Erica asks as she looks at her friend.
"Why should? Who is she to him?" Mia questions.
"They were together for a long time. Her and Bishop dated for years. They broke up cause she cheated on him with Corey, she was apparently pregnant too but I think she had an abortion. I'm surprised you don't know this." Erica states.
This was all new to Mia. She didn't know much about who Bishop dealt with in the past and she didn't care to know but this situation with Alexis had intrigued her.
She honestly didn't think Bishop was the relationship type of guy.
"Corey from the Tre?" Mia asked as Erica nods.
"They used to be real good friends. Remember the situation where everybody was saying Corey got a girl pregnant?" Erica says.
Mia nods.
