The days had gone and came once again. Making it another week gone by. A week since she'd been discharged from the hospital and two weeks since the shooting.
Everything had moved at the speed of lighting. Her hips swayed with poise, as she walked with one foot infront the other.
Moving boxes were stacked up just about everywhere. Pictures leaned against the walls waiting to be hung up. As much as Reyna wanted to be back in her own space she didn't expect to be moving into a new home.
Gino had moved them into a luxury townhome in the Heights area of Houston. The townhome was three levels it seemed like too much but Reyna liked it. It gave them privacy and a backyard unlike the condo.
They even had their own garage. As she opened the door in walked Erin and Faye. The two walked in all smiles dressed comfortably.
They were coming to help her unpack everything she wanted to get everything out the way since the kids were with their grandmother and Chace was with his mother.
"Bitch you still in your bed clothes?" Faye said, as Reyna waved her off.
The black Gilda & Pearl Esme Silk Feather Babydoll Dress swept her upper thigh. Her feet were comfortably in the black Saint Laurent Bleach Mink Fur Slides. She wore diamonds earrings in each ear. A tennis bracelet on her wrist. While her hair held volume and layers as it fell over her shoulders.
"I'm in my house. We ain't going nowhere but from room to room." Reyna said, as they followed behind her into the living room.
"I like this. It's comfortable but it's still nice." Erin said, as she looked around the living room.
Reyna had decided to keep the color scheme she had going on in her home since she was now living with a man.
There was a large tan u-shaped sectional that was decorated with the Black and Tan Hermés Wool Cashmere Avalon Pillows and textured beige pillows. Underneath was a solid black Black Cow Hide Rug.
On top was two Meadow Cocktail tables in bronze and brass. Their was armless sofa as well. Canvas pictures of them and the kids hung on the wall in black and white.
The living room was the only room that she had made progress in.
"Y'all plan on taking pictures together with the kids?" Faye asked, as she looked at the pictures that hung up. Everything was nice a touch of elegance but also real homelike.
"I don't know. That's a good question. I know I planned on taking some maternity pictures with us." She said, as they nodded. Since she had been on bed rest Reyna had been coming up with ideas for her maternity shoot.
Now that she was four months pregnant and would be expecting a baby girl in the next five months she had been planning everything.
"I can't wait till our baby girl is here." Erin said, as they all agreed. Once they all found out that she would be expecting a baby girl they were all happy.
Especially Gino's family since she would be the first girl grandchild of his parents. Her baby was spoiled already and she wasn't even here yet.
"But I just wanted y'all to see the living room. We could start on the kitchen." She said, as they both put their purses down before following her into the kitchen.
As they began to neatly place the things where they belonged.
"So y'all know I told y'all I wanted to plan Mia a party. I was just thinking about something small but special for her." She said, as she wiped the champagne glasses before putting them into the cabinet.
