I don't say anything and walk towards Isaiah's house. "We're are you going?"Sam asks me. "Home." "You're just going to leave Bucky here?" "That's the plan." "What's going on Blue? What happened to you?"he asks me. My feet suddenly stop before my brain even tells them too. "Oh I don't know how about the fact that I was kidnapped Sam."I snap as I spin around on my heels, "how about the fact I want to go home and see my daughter.""I understand that but he is your husband." "Yeah the husband that left me behind." "Hey that's not fair, Bucky didn't stop looking for you, he never lost hope that you would come home. That man lost himself in every single way possible and you want to throw him away like he's nothing! You mean the world to him Blue, and after everything you're going to be the person that breaks him. Not Hydra, not Steve's death, you."Sam concludes.
I remain silent as I look at the ground. "I know you're feeling some kind of way and we are here to do whatever it takes to help you through it. But he needs to heal to and that's something I can't help him with." I sigh as Sam's footsteps approach me, again not a word is said. Suddenly I'm wrapped in a tight embrace, the strong scent of cologne fills my nose. For once I don't fight back, I don't struggle to push him off, or fill his body with electricity, I just stand completely still. "Come on, let's go get him."
People crowd the station either waiting to get someone or waiting to hear what to do next. "Sam."this female voice calls. The two of us turn and look at her. "I've hear a lot about you. I'm Dr. Raynor. I'm James's therapist." "He doesn't like to be called James."I suddenly interrupt. Her eyes dart to mine for a second, confusion plastering her face. "May I ask who you are?"she asks me. "I'm Blue."
That confused look turns to excitement and understanding. "You're Blue", she outstretches a hand towards me for me to shake but I don't move. "Blue doesn't really like being touched or touching others anymore, so don't take it personally."Sam tells her. Awkwardly she pulls her hand back, "well Blue I have heard a lot about you. I would just like to say I'm happy you're back." I press my lips into a line and nod my head before turning back to the ground. I can still feel her intense gaze still fixated on me.
"Thank you for getting him out."Sam tells her as he stands to officially greet her. "Oh that was not me."she says. Suddenly a familiar voice booms down the hall. "Christina!" The three of us turn to see the fake star spangled man waving at us from down the hall. Son of a bitch. "It's great to see you again."he smiles. "You have got to be kidding me. You know him?"Sam begins.
"Yeah, we did some field ops back in the day."she says. "Heard you were working with Bucky, so I though I would step in. Bucky's not going to be following a strict schedule any longer."John announces as he joins the two. "We haven't finished our work. Who authorized this?"she asks. He just points to himself with a stupid grin on his face. Jackass.
A buzzer sound as the door by the desk opens. Bucky along with two other police officers step through. After what Sam said early I just don't know what to feel or believe. I just feel numb. "He's too valuable of an asset to have tied up, so just do whatever you got to do with him, then send him off to me."John says. I immediately stand to say something but Sam stops me. "Now is not the time."
"Got some unfinished business, him and I." Again I'm about to say something but then his voice cuts me off. "Blue don't." I roll my eyes and just turn back towards my chair. I know he's watching me, even when he was mad at he he still always kept an eye on me. That was Bucky for you though, once he cared about someone he would go to the end of the line for them. I used to be the same way.
"James, condition of your release, session now. You two Sam and Blue." I give her a look for calling him James but she just ignores me. "That's okay." we both say. "That wasn't a request."she demands. Unfortunately we follow her behind the doors.
