Chapter 2

While they were devouring what her mother had cooked for her, she spoke.

"Nothing can certainly beat your cooking mom, it's absolutely delicious!" She said while savouring the food her mother prepared for her, her mother just smiled at her then she continued speaking.

"I'm always looking for it in every country I've been to, but nothing really tastes better than your cooking mom, the best lasagna ever." She said while taking another big bite of her food, then her mother spoke.

"Thank you honey, I can cook that everyday if you want. I will do anything for my only baby." Her mother said smiling then her dad spoke too.

"She's right, we will do anything for my little princess." He said smiling at her daughter, she just smiled at them.

"Thank you mom, dad, but I'm okay being with the both of you always makes me happy." She said with so much love, they always like that to each other, then suddenly her phone rang so she excused herself to get the call.

"What's up Kate?" She said as she answered the call.

Kate is her best friend a model too, she always accompany Keira whenever she has a fashion show abroad.

"Hey girl! I read the news, you're back!" She said happily, she can't accompany Keira to her fashion show in Paris because something came up that's what she said, then she smiled and spoke.

"Yeah, I saw that too, so where are you? Are you coming over? I'm here at the mansion." She said.

"Of course! We have so much to gossip about, SLEEPOVER!" Kate said screaming while giggling, she just laugh at her crazy friend and after a few minutes she hung up and she went back inside, her mom spoke.

"Who is it honey?" her mother asked her.

"It's Kate, she's coming over. Is that okay, mom?" She asked her mother, her mom just laughed at her.

"Of course honey, this is your house too you don't need to ask permission." Her mom said smiling, but she noticed that her dad seemed too quiet so she asked him.

"Dad," She called him, then he lift his head to meet his daughter.

"Yes princess?" He asked her.

"You seemed too quiet, is something wrong dad?" She asked him worrying if there was something wrong, but her dad just shook his head then spoke.

"Nothing princess don't worry." He said smiling, but she can really feel that something's off so she asked both of them. She knew her parents very well so she can really say if they were lying or not.

"Mom, Dad, I know something is wrong and I can feel that you both have something to tell me," She said confronting her parents, they both looked at each other like they're talking using their eyes, so her eyebrows met and she was confused, then they both looked at her, her dad spoke first.

"It's about the company, princess." He said, so she was even more confused then she spoke.

"What's wrong? I know I'm busy but I've always managed to check how our company's doing. I've never missed the weekly and monthly reports of it and as far as I know it was all good nothing is wrong." She explained to them, and they seemed shocked at their daughter, then her mom spoke.

"No honey, nothing's wrong in our company you're right. Actually, it's not really about our company," Her mom said leaving her more confused.

"Then what was it?" She said, then her parents looked at each other again it is as if they are hesitant to tell her, then her dad spoke.

"It's about your uncle Victor's company." He said, she just nodded signalling her dad to continue.

"You see, they are having troubles expanding in Europe, and you know that we successfully expand our company there, right?" She nodded again then her father continued.
