Chapter 48

Keira's POV

"Shane, did the dresses arrive?" I ask her while still busy doing my things.

"Yes, Ms. Keira. They arrived thirty minutes ago" She said, I simply nod then Kate suddenly came gasping for air. I lift my head to see her.

"Did you run? What happen?" I ask concerned. She lift her hand and tried to calm herself first before she spoke. She sigh heavily.

"Okay, we have a problem!" She said, I frown and Shane has a worried face.

"What is it?" I ask again.

"One of the models got injured. He tried to help our crew to lift some hea-" I cut her off when I realise what she just said.

"He? One of the male models?" I ask in shocked. We're in freaking Paris right now. We didn't hired an extra models, specially a male one. Most of my models are girls. Oh god! This is a big trouble. Shane became nervous and so do I.

"Yes! That's why I said it's a problem. We don't have extra male models for tonights show. Even if we take another male model in New York it can't be. The show will start in 4 hours, they can't make it" She said worrying and nervous. Oh god! Oh god! What will I do?

"How's the guy? Did he hurt badly?" I ask, Kate shakes her head.

"Luckily he's not. But he can't walk properly, he sprain his ankle and got some mild wounds. He's currently taking care off, so don't worry about him" She said shrugging. I sigh and rub my forehead. Then someone came knocking before entering. I turn my head and then I saw King walking towards me with a big smile.

"Hey, Love" He said then kissed me. I smile and look at him.

"I got you some sweets, maybe you want some" He said in caring voice. I smiled and and sighs.

"Hey, we're here also. Hello?" Kate said mocking him. He laughs and spoke.

"Okay, you can have some too" He said, he received an eyeroll from Kate. Kate grab the donut box and shared it with Shane. He suddenly cupped my face so I look at him.

"You look so tired. You want me to take over so you can relax a bit?" He asks, he's so sweet. I shake my head.

"No, I can't. We have a big problem now" I said a little embarrassed. He frown a little.

"What is it? Maybe I can help you" He said, I was just looking at him then an idea immediately pop up in my mind. I smiled and turn to look at Kate and Shane already looking at me, like we just had a conversation in our heads.

"You can help us!" We all said to him while raising our voice in excitement. He became confused. I got a wide smile because I know that our problem is solve now.

"Oh-kay? You don't need to shout girls, I can hear you clearly" He said like mocking us. I just smiled at him and spoke.

"Can you be my model for tonight?" I said pretty excited. Shane and Kate are smiling too.

"What?" He ask confused. I laugh a bit and spoke.

"One of my male models got injured and I didn't hire an extra male models. Then if we're going to get some from New York it can't be, the show will starts in 4 hours" I explain he's just listening.

"So, maybe you can help us?" I said a little shy. He's just staring at me and not saying anything. I got a bit nervous because of this, we really do need his help right now. Then suddenly a big sweet smile plastered on his face so I smiled too.

"Okay" He finally said. I charge at him immediately hugging him tightly because of so much joy. Kate and Shane are shouting in excitement. Problem solved.

"Thank you!" I said when I pull away to see him. He cupped my cheek and caressing it using his thumb, I lean to it.

"I can do anything for you my love." He said with full of love and adoration. I smiled and held his hand on my cheek, then I cup his face too before I kissed him. When we pulled away we looked in each others eyes while smiling. Then suddenly I heard Kate and Shane saying, "Aweee" then Kate added "I missed Nicholas" with matching fake sobbing.

We both look at them and laughed, because they look really weird. I'm so thankful that he's here.

Fast forward...

Our last tour went really well, the people loved our surprise for them. They saw King modeling one of my designs and I am proud of it. The guest's went crazy and so as the media, they didn't see it coming so it was a total blast. We've earn a lot, and we got a lot of orders just from that line.

While my staffs are making this night memorable, because this is our last night here. Tomorrow we're gonna go back home, and I'm planning to give them some day offs, they all deserved it. I am here at the balcony just relaxing while enjoying the feels of the breeze on my bare skin. Then suddenly I felt a hand on my waist, when I turn around I saw King smiling at me.

"Hey," I said while fixing his tuxedo.

"Why are you out here? You're suppose to enjoy your party," He said softly.

"I am enjoying it.. just buy looking at them, I prepare that party for them." I said. I held his face and look him in the eye and continue.

"And, thank you for everything you've done. I really appreciate it," I said, he chuckle a little.

"No worries. As I said, I will do anything for you Keira," He said looking at me deeply. I smiled and tiptoe to kissed him. He held the back of my head to deepen our kiss, it became a very passionate one and it feels so good. When he pull away he spoke.

"I'm taking you out of here," He said, I was a bit surprised by that, I frown.

"Where are we going?" I asks, he ignored me and starts dragging me out.

"King, I'm asking you" I said a little annoyed. He stop for and spoke.

"It's a secret, so be patient my wife" He said with a big smile then continue walking until we get to his car. He help he get in the passenger seat before he turn to the driver seat. I was just looking at his every move. What secret? I hate secrets! I am still frowning.

"Seatbelt please," He said excitedly, he sound like a kid. I did what he said, he wink at me first before he starts the engine and dove off to somewhere I don't know. It was a silent short trip. And I saw the beach. It's freezing outside, and he decided to bring me here. Is he trying to swim there or something? Is he crazy?

He got out and open the door for me, I got out and looked around before I face him.

"Are you crazy? What are we doing here? It's so cold. Do you have plans to swim there? Right now? Are you crazy?" I flooded him with questions, but he was just looking at me like he's containing himself not to laugh at me. I frowned, now I'm annoyed.

"You are too cute for me baby, you're so innocent and pure. That's the reason why I loved you so much," He said those words in all of a sudden, he surprised me by that and I can't even say anything. He laughs and get something in the car.

He came back and put some big coat for me. I was just looking at him. I don't know what to feel right now, a while ago I'm annoyed then just for a second it just vanished. He held out his hand and offer it to me. I was literally confused right now.

"Let's go,"
