Chapter 3

"WHAT?" Kate said when she finally came to her senses, Keira just laughed at her because Kate is wearing a weird face, she just can't believe what Keira just said.

"To whom?" Kate asked her, but Keira just shrugged.

"To the CEO of Viglianco's Corporation." She said, then Kate was stunned again. She's just laughing at her crazy friend, then finally Kate spoke again.

"Why? Why him? And why all of a sudden?" She asked Keira with concern because she already knew who it was.

"Why? What's wrong?" Keira asked confused.

"Really? You didn't know?" Kate said, but she just shaked her head then Kate sighed and spoke.

"He is King Vandestine Viglianco!" She said a little bit of raising her voice and swaying her hands, Keira was just looking at her.

"And?" She said, Kate was shocked at her friend for not knowing this man.

"He is known to be so cruel, rude, a heartbreaker, a playboy, it's like he already slept with all the actresses and models out there! Of course, expect for the both of us! But now, you are telling me you're going to marry him??!!" Kate said really frustrated right now, Keira just shrugged and said.

"So?" She said, leaving Kate stunned with an open mouth.

"Kate, stop being so dramatic. I'm not marrying him because I liked him. Actually, I don't really know him and I don't care." Keira said, Kate was just listening to her then she continued.

"I'm just doing this for Uncle Victor, his company is having trouble and you know that I really want to do something for him even though he's gone and I think this is the time. I can't just sit here and watch his company struggling, I know how hard he'd worked for that and you know it too." She said, Kate sighed and hug her friend and said.

"I know, I'm just worried about you being married to him." She said on verge of crying.

"Don't worry, you already know that I don't need a man, I don't need him. Yes, we're getting married but just in papers this is only for the legality of merging our company's. I don't need to live with him or be a good housewife." She said with a little laugh.

"Be sure to that, because as far as I know he really looks so fucking good like the perfect creation of God." Kate said admiring it.

"There is no such thing as perfect, you're just overreacting." She said shrugging.

"No, I'm just telling you to make your wall so hard because he might be able to break it and you might be able to fall for him." Kate said teasing her.

"I don't think so." Keira said rolling her eyes.

"I think so." Kate said, then they both laughed.

After that they do a movie marathon while eating their pizza, they didn't take long because they have a party to attend to. Keira's Party that her parents made for her, they're doing it on one of their biggest hotels so they need to sleep early for the event tomorrow.

Keira woke up because of the sunlight hitting her face, they didn't drink last night but her head was aching, probably because of her jetlag yesterday. She quickly got to the bathroom to do her morning routines, she's tired but they have a party to attend to, her party actually. When she got out of the bathroom she saw her bestfriend still sleeping with an open mouth and drooling, she just laughed at it and decided to do something stupid.

"KATE! THERE'S A FIRE!!!!WAKE UP!!!" She said screaming really loud, and Kate quickly jump from the bed and fell to the ground. Keira was laughing really hard, she really liked pranking her best friend because she always fell for it.
