Chapter 18

Third person's POV

Today is the most awaited wedding of the heiress of Leuttgen Corp. And the handsome and successful CEO of Viglianco Corp. Ms. Keira Leirhe Leneghan Leuttgen and Mr. King Vandestine Viglianco.

Their wedding will be live in their chosen media to cover the wedding so everyone will be able to watch it, it was Keira's Mom's doing she really proud that her daughter is getting married so she wanted everyone to know.

"Honey, are you okay? Are you nervous?" Keira's mom asks her in her bridal room.

"A little bit mom" She said smiling, actually she's not nervous because she's getting married, because she knows that this is just a contract between them.

She's nervous or more like scared when the day comes when her parents find out that she and King have such a contract. She is afraid that she will disappoint her parents and she will hurt them. She didn't want to fool them but when she agreed to marry him her parents were so happy that's why she did it.. for them.

Her dad came in with an 'awe' look when he saw her daughter in her wedding gown.

"You are so beautiful my princess" Her dad said while hugging her. She pulled away then smiled at her father.

"Thank you dad. You too, you look handsome" She said playfully. Her dad cupped her face with tears in his eyes.

"I'm so happy that you're getting married to a good man princess. I'm sure King will take good care of you. I'm so proud of you my princess" Her dad said. She also cried not because she was happy but because of what her dad said. 'Goodman? Is he? I think he charmed my parents so that's how they think of him', she said to herself. Her guilt was arising because her parents were so happy because of this.

"Okay, stop that. Don't make her cry. It will ruin her make up" Her mother scolded them, so they both laughed. She hugged her dad again.

"I love you dad" She said then she hug her mom too "I love you mom" then she pulled away from them.

"Thank you" Keira said to them, 'And I'm sorry' she wanted to say that, but she can't. Then Kate came in and was also awed when she saw her bestfriend in her wedding gown.

"Okay, we give you two a moment. We're just going to King." Her parents said. She nods and they got out then she confronts her dramatic bestfriend.

"Don't cry, your make up" She said to Kate, so Kate immediately straightened up.

"You're really getting married to one of the hottest men out there." Kate said teasing her, she just shakes her head while laughing.

"Well, he's the one who's lucky to have me" Keira answered, Kate rolled her eyes but in a playful way.

"Yeah yeah of course" Kate said that it was like she was so bored then they both suddenly laughed. What a crazy pair of best friends.

"But for real. Congratulations Keira. Even if this is just a 'contract' between you two." Kate said and whispered the last words. Kate sigh.

"Do you think that maybe you can give it a shot?" Kate asks her. Keira frown then Kate continues.

"Just give it a try. You know your fake marriage might work, don't you?" She said. Keira just shook her head at the same time.

"Not gonna happen. And I'm not making any promises that I know that I can't keep" She replied. Kate sigh and surrender because she knows Keira she won't gonna do it.

"Okay then. Get ready, you'll be up in five minutes Mrs. Viglianco" Kate said teasing her and she laughed before she leaves the room. Keira just laughed and didn't know why she was trying to understand what Kate said to her. Can she really make it work? I think she can, but she will not gonna do it.

King's room

Keira's dad came in.

"Hey, you ready?" He asks him. Larry approached him and adjusted his clothes.

"I know Victor will be so happy and proud of you son" He said to King. King smiled then spoke. "Thanks, Dad" He said smiling.

Larry hug him while saying "Thank you son and please take good care of my princess. She is everything to us, she's our world. Please make her happy and protect her." He said then pull away.

"I will dad. I will" He answered and Larry patted him on his arm while smiling. He felt the same that Keira is feeling right now. Guilt. He felt so bad and sad for fooling them that everything is okay between Keira and him.

Keira's mom came in too and hug him while caressing his back and spoke.

"Victor will be so proud of you son" She said and parted with King then continued.

"Thank you King" Keira's mom said. He smiled and spoke.

"I will take care of her mom. I promise" A promise he didn’t know if he can fulfil. The two hugged him before leaving the room.

He immediately sat down and sighed. He's nervous because he's getting married and he doesn't know what will happen afterwards. Keira doesn't even like her, she cleared that to him.

"Heyyyy!" King's childhood friend immediately shouted at him when he entered so he was surprised. He's always leaving abroad so that's the reason why he just came out of the story now. He is the president of King's company. The only friend he had because he didn't easily trust others especially when it comes to his dad's company. It's Nicholas Amir Owsinski. Elegant name, right. *wink *

He frown and said, "What are you doing here?" He asked Nicholas immediately frowned and acted hurt so King laughed a bit.

"You called me and said, 'Be my best man. I'm getting married' that's what you said" He said while imitating King's voice, so he just shook his head. He sat down next to him and then spoke.

"I still can't believe that you're really getting married man" Nick said to him with a confused look. He didn't know about the contract. The only person who knows about it was Keira's lawyer, King and of course Keira and Kate, King just doesn't know yet that Kate knows about his contract with Keira.

"Well believe it or not it's already happening" King said without looking. He hates keeping secrets with him but he needs to respect Keira's conditions or else it will be void.

"Well man, congratulations. Although I don’t know how you are willing to be tied down. Because knowing you, you're not gonna do it, unless you mean it or you're getting something from it." Nick said with a playful smile but with a serious look. King knows that he's right, Because he told him before that he doesn't want to get married or be with someone. But here he is now, getting married. He can't help but to just laugh at what was about to happen.

"I really can't imagine you getting married, and not just a normal girl. She's so rich and beautiful and famous, I think she has everything. And you're so lucky to catch that kind of a girl. Because there's just only one Keira in this world and you manage to get her." Nick said again while shaking his head, then continued.

"You're a playboy. A heartbreaker, but now you're getting married. Just wow. Wow!" He said still have that confused look while clapping. He was already smiling no matter what he said, he knew it was true. If anyone really knew him, Nicholas was one of them.

"Will you please shut up now. You're like a nagging nanny scolding me" King said with a frown. Nicholas lift his hand to surrender and spoke again.

"Really man. Congratulations." He said. Nicholas gave him a bro hug while patting his back.

"Thank you" King said he parted from Nicholas then spoke.

"Take care of her. She might bump her head and wake up suddenly. Be careful with that. She might regret this man." Nicholas teased him again so he punched him while laughing. 'And correction, she was already regretting it' he said to himself.

"Leave" He said, Nicholas just laughed at him before leaving.
