Chapter 41

King's POV

Kate made me buy these things, I don't really know what is this for. I read some of the medicine I bought are for cramps. She's having stomach cramps. Is she?

When I came back to the hotel, I go straight to our room. I found Kate there tapping Keira like a baby.

"Shhh" She said to me. Then she stood up and walk towards me and get the things I bought.

"Is she okay?" I asked her.

"I hope so." She said while taking the heat pads and walk towards the bed. She put the heat pads on Keira's stomach.

"Is that thing will gonna help her?" I said when I came to her side.

"Yes, it can help her to ease the pain. She will be okay." She said with a smile while fixing Keira's cover.

"Is she having a stomach cramps? Do we need to get her to the hospital?" I asked again not knowing anything. She just laugh a bit.

"It's worse than stomach cramps. She's having period cramps, her period came. And when it came she really suffer from it. It's torturing her." She said. I became a little bit shy with that. I just nod.

"And King, please don't suggest to her to get into a hospital when she's feeling a terrible pain. She hates hospitals." Kate said. I wonder why. I nod again. Then she said to me how her medicines works, or what time she needs to take them. I just nod and nod.

"Thank you Kate. She still doesn't want to talk to me. I'd really glad that you're here for her." I said honestly. She nodded and smiled at me.

"That's the reason why I am always with her. I can't let her be alone by herself. Because she has this hobby to hide any pain and just keep it in herself. She wants to suffer alone than to get some help. She's an independent woman King, have a little patience with her. You need to take time to understand her. She has a really deep wound in her heart. In time maybe she will tell you that side of the story of her." She said like Nicholas when he's in his serious mode. I nod again.

"I will. Thank you again Kate. Good night" I said then she came back to her room to get some rest too.

I wonder what kind of wound Kate just said to me that Keira has. I want to know her more. I want to help her heal that wound of her, whatever may that be.

The next day..

I woke up so early to take some action for her shows. She's not feeling well and maybe I can help to run her show just for tonight. She's still sleeping peacefully, I still manage to make her take her medicines on time like what Kate said to me. Luckily she didn't argue with that and willingly take all the medicines she needs.

I didn't bother to wake her up, she's having a hard time sleeping because of the pain so I can't just take that away from her. She needs to rest. Now is the time for me to make up to her. I hope she won't be angry with this.

At the gallery where the show will gonna take place..

I get in and I caught them already busy with everything. The show will start at seven in the evening. We have a lot of time before it, but Keira wants her shows to be perfect like she always did. I'm gonna do my best.

Kate notice me then called the attention of everyone.

"Everyone listen up first" She said, then they all stop in their track and gather in the middle. She nods at me and I did too.

"Okay. Good morning." I said. They all greeted me too. I sigh.

"As you can see Keira was not here. She's not feeling well today." I said then they became sad and worried.

"Don't worry she will be okay. I just need to take her place just for tonight on her behalf. My wife needs to rest. And I need your help with this. Let's make her proud." I said with a smile. They all cheer and smiled at me.

"Okay, I'll end my annoying speech here." I said with a laugh they did too.

"Let's get back to work." I said then they all nodded at me before they continue doing their work.

"You sure about this?" Kate said in my side while crossing her arms.

"No. But did you forget who I am? I am the mighty King Viglianco. This thing is just an easy piece for me." I said proudly of myself. She smirks at me.

"Just don't blew this out or you'll be dead. I mean it." She said trying to scare me. She walked away.

"I won't" I said to myself.

I did all her paper works. She has a lot of things to do before her show starts. I am amazed at how she handles all this stuff. This is not hard for me.

"S-sir w-we ne-need yo-" Her secretary came in and scared at me. She can't even speak to me without stuttering. I sigh.

"Don't stutter Shane. I won't bite." I said with a grin. She gulps and nods at me.

"We need your immediate attention sir" She said. I stood up and nod. She started walking and I follow her.

"What happens?" I asked immediately. They all look at me in horror. Then Kate answered me.

"One of the dresses got ripped off at the bottom unintentionally when they're transferring the dresses to a safe place." She said. I frown and walked towards the dress they said got damaged.

"Is this the?" I ask while inspecting the dress.

"Yes, that dress was the one who will take the finale" Kate said again. The staffs are all scared to talk to me. I sigh. I wanted to shout at them because of this. I sigh and calm myself.

"I'm so sorry sir. I didn't see that there are nails at the corner when I'm making a turn and the dress got ripped because of it. I'm so sorry sir." The other girl said already crying. I hate this. But I can't shout at them. This is just an accident, no ones at fault with this. I turn around having a serious face, and they all back out a little.

"This is a disaster." I said. They all became more scared than it is.

"But no one needs to blame for this. It already happened, we just need to find a solution for this." I said very calmly. They all sigh in relief for me not shouting at them.

"What solution? Keira was the only one who can change the designs. We can't do anything about that. Unless we get her to-" Kate said. I'm not gonna let that.

"No." I blurted out, then they all stared at me.

"We are not going to bring this stress to her when she's already not feeling well. I'll think of the possible solution for this. All of you can continue doing your work. I'll handle this." I said trying to stay calm.

"Are you sure? What are you gonna do?" Kate asked me with a frown and obviously worried.

"Who will wear this dress?" I asked.

"Me." She said. I look at her and nod. I get some scissors and start revising the design of this finale dress. I hope this works. Kate keeps on telling me not to do it, but too late I already did.

"Oh my god. What did you do?" She said in horror, and I think she's gonna cry.

"I solve the problem." I said proudly.

"Is ripping it more solved the problem? You're insane! She will be furious with this." She said. She became restless and disconcerted. I just laugh at her.

"Kate relax. This will be fine. The show will be perfect." I said proudly. She can't calm so I just let her be.

I'd really hope this thing works. If not, Kate was right. I'm dead.
