Even though you were selective mute the cast always made sure to include you in everything and respected your boundaries. You really don't know how you even got the role. You performed stunts for the mcu at first but the producers decided to add the character you played into the scripts last second so they were in a hurry to find someone. They asked you and when they found out you were selective mute it inspired them to also make your character selective mute. You took the role as you didn't have to talk and it came with a lot of money

You have only spoken a few words to Lizzie but just small words as usually you just wrote in a notebook you carried around to communicate to everyone

This was your first comic con and you were really nervous about what was going to happen since none of the fans knew you were actually selective mute

You really didn't see the point of even coming when you weren't going to talk but the directors and cast really wanted you there as they said you were still apart of the team

You were backstage sitting between Lizzie and Aaron waiting to be called up to stage. 'But what if they make fun of me' you wrote in your notebook. "If they make fun of you we'll kick their asses" Aaron spoke up Lizzie punched his arm lightly. "Baby nothing bad is going to happen if they ask you a question I'll explain to them"

"You guys are about to get called up" one of the backstage workers said. "Come on babe" Lizzie grabbed my hand as we were about to get called up on stage. They called out Aaron and Elizabeth first that means it was about to be your turn

"ALSO A NEWCOMER WE HAVE Y/N L/N" you heard the announcer call. You came out with a huge smile waving at the audience. They cheered loudly which felt nice knowing you were welcomed as a newcomer but you were still nervous about whether or not they would keep the same energy when they found out you were selective mute.

Of course Rdj started off with a speech which lasted like 10 minutes. It was a beautiful but boring speech. After that happened the announcer started letting the fans ask the questions

As everyone was getting asked questions you were playing with your fingers hoping no one would ask you a question but you just had to jinx yourself. "Yeah this question is for Y/n" You looked at Lizzie nervously and put your attention to the fan

"So Y/n we know your character is this really powerful person that Natasha takes under her wing but we also know she's mute of course there's nothing wrong with that but why did they choose to make your character mute?" You and the cast started laughing knowing why but it confused the fans

You looked at Lizzie to answer the question for you. She looked at you to make sure you were comfortable opening up to the fans which you quickly gave her a thumbs up.

"So Y/n actually has selective mutism so for her it's a anxiety disorder where the person can't speak especially in certain situations. So the writers decided to add her character last second into the scripts so they were in a hurry to get someone and when they met Y/n and found out she was selective mute it inspired them to actually make her character selective mute" You gave Lizzie a smile which she returned back

"WE LOVE YOU Y/N" all of a sudden a fan yelled with everyone cheering after. You made a heart sign indicating your love back for them you were happy they still accepted you

As the panel went on with now Hemsworth being asked a question you leaned into Lizzie she wrapped her hands around your shoulders. "I love you" you all of a sudden whispered to Lizzie she looked at you shocked and tears were starting to form in her eyes. "I love you too" she said back which made you smile widely

Beside you Scarlett was smiling proudly and was also shocked by what she heard. That was the first time she's ever heard you speak. She was like your big sister. She always protected you as you were like the baby of the cast so she was proud of her little sister.

After some time you started talking to Lizzie more it might still only be small words but to you 2 it was a big development.
