Not long after the couple go into a peaceful trance, almost like sleeping, the sound of faint cracking then a loud scream follows behind the crack. Jasper and Lila's eyes both snap open, both going into a frantic mode, Lila rushes down the stairs her feet violently slapping against the floor, slightly sliding to a stop at the living room, archway. To find Edward holding up Bella, whilst Alice frantically dials Carlisle, Edward looks back at Lila, he nods.
"Now!?" Lila's voice raises in pitch, before frantically running to the pop up medial room in Carlisle's office, Lila starts gathering the things needed: the needles full of Edward's venom, morphine, scalpels. Lila quickly sets up the medial bed covering the medical bed in disposal sheets. Edward comes rushing through the door with Bella is his arms, "what happened?" Lila asked removing all of the rings on her hands and rolling up her sleeves. "The placenta has detached" Edward said over Bella's pained screams. Rosalie goes to give Bella the morphine.
"I don't think we enough time, she could die before it even sets in rose" Lila said pulling up Bella's top over her belly. "It's okay Bella we will get the baby don't worry" Lila reassured grabbing her hand, whilst Jacob holds the other. Bella screams as Edward starts slicing through the stomach, the blood runs down the front of Bella's stomach, whilst Rosalie stares at the blood, "get out Rosalie go" Edward grits, getting through the embryo sack, Alice grabs Rosalie escorting her out, to Jasper who was stood outside waiting for the 3 other vampires to come home.
"Are you okay?" Jacob asks Lila who's eyes are pitch black, she nods her head, feeling the grip on her hand loosen. "Hey Bella stay awake so you can see your beautiful baby" Lila said using her free hand to rub the sweat from Bella's face. Soon a cry is ringing through the medical area of the office, Lila moves to let Edward take her place, his arms covered in blood, so is the baby, "it's Reneseme" Edward says smiling down at his wife and baby, Bella smiles down at the baby gently holding her hand, before she starts to still. Both vampires hear her heart stilling as well. "Let me take the baby Edward, you save your wife" Lila said rushing forward, gently taking the baby into her arms, her hand resting under the babies bum and another resting on the babies head. Lila walks through the living room to to closets bathroom, Lila slowly fills the sink full of Luke warm water.
She gently bounces the baby in her arms, looking up in the mirror seeing the door open, a bunch of blonde locks peaks through the door. "Can I see the baby?" Jasper whispers from by the door, Lila gently nods. Jasper smiles closing the door once he was in the bathroom leaning down slightly to be eye level with the baby. Smiling gently, he turns to the sink, checking the water temperature "Can I bath her?" He asks swishing the water. Lila nods, passing the baby to Jasper, Jasper grins bouncing the baby before gently setting her in the sink, using a wash cloth to gently wash the blood off her skin "I'm going to get her some clothes" Lila said slipping out of the room.
Jasper cooes at the baby, as she blinks up at him, "you're so cute" he whines, his southern accent shining, placing his hand on his chest leaning back. Lila slips back in, brows furrowing at Jasper. "What are you doing?" She asked setting down the small onesie. "Reneseme looked at me with the biggest doe eyes, it almost killed me" Jasper said grabbing a spare towel. Lila picks up Reneseme into arms, soaking through Lila's dress and top. Jasper helps Lila wrap Reneseme into a towel, "she has so much hair" lila whispered stroking Reneseme soft hair.
Jasper watches his mate with the baby in her arms, a small smile on his face, his eyes glistening. "Let's get you dress HM?" Lila voices, gently lying Reneseme down onto her back, gently getting her into a diaper and the onesie, sitting her back up, then into her arms. The couple sit in the living room, whilst everyone else is outside including Edward, who was still covered in Bella's blood. Seth sneaks into the room "it's going crazy out there" Seth said breaking the silence. Lila shakes her head "come sit down" Jasper said standing up offering his seat.
"I can sit somewhere else I don't mind" Seth said waving his hands in front of himself, Jasper nods his head to the seat, Seth sits down next to lila, who was stroking Reneseme cheek with one hand, Seth peaks over the bundle of blanket, to see Reneseme peaking through the bundle. "She's cute isn't she?" Lila whispered, angling her arm to show Seth, Reneseme. Seth nods smiling at the baby. Jasper walks around the the couch to the back, his body leaning forward.
The family walks back in "they are going back to their land" Carlisle said sitting down on the furthest side of the sofa, Esme sitting down next to him. Rosalie approaches Lila "can I hold her?" Rosalie asks, Lila nods handing over Reneseme. "Of course I need to change since I'm soaked right through with water" Lila said walking upstairs to Jasper's room, Jasper trailing behind Lila. "Jaz can I borrow your clothes till we get back home?" Lila asked Jasper turning around. Jasper nods his head "you don't need to ask doll" Jasper said sitting down on the corner of the bed. Rummaging in the closet for a t-shirt and joggers, throwing them onto the bed. Lila stares at Jasper with an awkward smile.
He smiles turning around so he's facing the wall.the sound of clothes ruffling and falling onto the bed, "you can turn back around now" Lila said, the bottom of the shirt tucked under her chin as she tightens the joggers that sit low on hip hips, with the top of her underwear showing. Her soft stops showing.

Jasper sits with his arms out right in front of him, Lila laughs, and falls into his arms. Both falling back onto the comforter, both laughing lightly. "We can go home now" Jasper said his hands sneaking up under lilad shirt, onto her lower back. "Yes we can thank god, I miss having privacy, I need to sort Christmas presents out too" Lila sighed, her fingers running through Jasper's hair.
"Should we go back home?" Jasper asked. Lila nods, both standing up, walking down stairs the couple say goodbye to the 3 shifters and the rest of the Cullen residences. Lila slips her shoes on that was left by the door, Jasper doing the same. Both running out the door and back to their home, both slowing down seeing the pack not in their wolf forms "what's wrong?" Lila asks looking at the pack members.
"We just wanted to say sorry" Embry spoke up taking the vampires by suprise, they look at eachother. "It's not us you need to apologize too, you threatened someone's baby, but we understand why did it, it's not us you have beef with" Lila said with a small smile "now go home, I'm sure your imprints are missing you, rest yo guys" Lila said taking Jasper's hand, both walking away, as did the pack, the vampires miss the small expression of gratitude on Sam's face before they left.
