Through the night Lila and Jasper set up the babies room, putting a few stuffed animal toys in the corner, along with a blanket. Whilst Jasper would finish building the drawers, and putting the chair need the radiator. When the married couple finished they both stood in the door way looking at their work. Lila looks up to Jasper "are you ready? We are going to be a cute mom and dad" Lila said hugging Jasper's child.
"Doll I bet you any money, when they grow up fully they will be taller than you" Jasper said jokingly. Lila pouts playing hitting his chest. Turning away from him. Jasper laughs and brings Lila back to him by pulling by the waist. "I'm sorry doll, I was only joking" Jasper said peaking over Lila's shoulder. She turns her head further away. So Jasper takes the chance to sneak a kiss onto her cheek, Lila struggles to keep a straight before stomping her foot "damn you and your ways" she whines turning around. Jasper laughs again and grabs Lila's face kissing every part of her face making her laugh as well.
"Jasper do you think I'll be a good Mom?" Lila asks gazing up at him with wide eyes. Jasper nods "you'll be the perfect mother Lils, when you looked after Ren you did amazing" Jasper reassured her face still cupped in his hands. Lila faintly nods smiling.
~ the morning~ Jasper and Lila sit in their living room as they both try to easy their jitters before getting ready to leave the house. "Bimini your brother or sister will be coming home today, isn't that exciting?" Lila said to the cat who just meows back, which was now in Lila's arms happily purring.
"Shall we go then?" Jasper asked standing from his spot on the sofa. His navy slippers scuffling on the floor, as well as Lila's slippers that look like the pink version of Tinkerbell's shoes. Lila sets Bimini down making sure she has food and water. "Yes we shall, don't forget to change your shoes jaz" Lila said as she kicks off her slippers, pulling on her white trainers. "Jaz you know because you will become a dad today, do you want some open toe sandals? Maybe some crocs?" Lila said, whilst smirking waiting for his reaction. Jasper looks up at lila shaking his head before letting out a small laugh.
"What about you then doll? Do you want a dressing gown, maybe one of those hair clips?" Jasper said taking Lila by suprise. Jasper stands up his shoes laced up. "You know what I would love a dressing gown, I will look like a true mother, I'll get you crocs then" Lila said heading out the door leaving Jasper. Jasper shakes his head following Lila. In the back seats of the car was a baby bag full of diapers, and small snacks in case, as well as the car seat for the baby.
Jasper and Lila pull up to the adoption agency Lila slowly opens the door with a knock, both walking in slowly, till Jasper closes the door behind them. The person at the front looks up from their computer, surprised to see a young couple in front of them. "Hello there, I'm assuming you want to adopt?" The person asks. "Yes we would" Jasper said, his hand gently grabbing onto Lila's. Lila smiles at the secretary. "What age are you looking to adopt?" They ask going into their database.
