~stop making fun of me~

"we need to get the blood out of the carpet" Lila whines staring at the big patch of blood that was soaked in to the creme carpet. Jasper nods grabbing his phone out of his trousers pocket " whilst you call I'll fix your jacket" Lila saying leaning over and kissing his cheek, before standing up with his jacket and leaving to the kitchen. Finding the sewing kit in the cupboard next to the sink, Lila sits at the dinning table, threading the needle with the black thread.

Jasper dials the first person that comes to mind...Peter, pressing the phone to his ear as the phone gets with its tedious ringing "Hello?" Peter answers, Jasper smiles lightly at the sound of his longtime friend's voice "hey it's me Jasper" Jasper responds waiting for Peter's response. "Hey Jasper, why are you calling? It's not like you to call me" Peter said, Lila laughs in the background could be heard, the snorts also making Jasper laugh slightly.

"It seems like you have a lady friend Jasper" Peter points out at the oblivious high pitch snorts in the background, the laugh becoming hysterical. Lila leans her head in the table her shoulders shaking as she tries to stop laughing but bursts out laughing again. "Ooo you got a lady friend" Lila mimics standing up from the table, Peter also laughing on the other side, Jasper turns around faking a hurt expression before playfully flipping her off. Lila squeals covering her heart like she was shot. "And you can be quiet" Jasper shots to Peter who was calming down. Lila walks back to the couch leaving the half done jacket. She sits on the arm of the couch next to Jasper.

"I was calling to ask if you know how to get blood out of the carpet?" Jasper asks eyeing the deep red on the carpet. Peter hums in thought " you could try soaking it with cold water, or enzymatic cleaners" Peter said trying to think of more solutions "maybe try like a salt or saline solution? That works rather well" Peter said thinking to the last time something like that happened to him and Charlotte "thank you, we shall try that" Jasper said looking over to his side, Lila was sat on the carpet, with a large bottle of salt and water, Lila puts water onto the carpet then shaking a load of salt on top, she gives Jasper a thumbs up watching the salt soak up the blood "what happened, did you bring a human home?" Peter asked, Jasper shakes his head forgetting Peter can't see him

"Jasper he can't see you shaking your head" Lila said Laughing, Peter also laughing "Lila stop making fun of me" Jasper whines falling onto the couch sideways. "Someone broke into our house, so Lila attacked them by breaking their nose and they got blood on the carpet" Jasper said finally explaining to Peter the situation, suddenly a cry rings their their house. Lila springs into action running upstairs Jasper running up the stairs "Jasper what's wrong?" Peter asked worried hearing their footsteps run up the stairs, Lila bursts into the bedroom, Aubrey was sitting up crying. "Aw honey I'm so sorry it's just a bad dream" Lila hushes climbing onto the bed hugging Aubrey.

"Aubrey had a bad dream" Jasper said,  climbing onto the bed as well, Peter gasps "you have a child? And a lady friend and you didn't tell me?" Peter said rushed in disbelief, Jasper awkwardly smiles at Lila. "yea sorry about that you should come over at some point, we have to go look after Aubrey" Jasper said, stroking Aubrey's hair, Peter bids Jasper a goodbye before they end the call. Jasper takes Aubrey from Lila who rushes down the stairs, gently bouncing the baby "it's okay baby don't worry mommy is getting you a bottle, then we can go back to sleep, it's your birthday soon you'll be 2" Jasper said talking to the sniffling Aubrey, glancing up at the clock, the hands reading 3am, Lila comes back with a bottle in hand and a tissue.

"Oh you snotty baby" Lila said in a baby voice cleaning up Aubrey's nose as she suckled from the training cup Jasper was holding, as Aubrey's eyelids get heavier and heavier till she falls back asleep. "Do you want to put her in her crib?" Lila whispered, Jasper shakes his head smiling down at Aubrey. "What should we do for her birthday?" Jasper asked. Lila hums in thought "maybe we can go to the park for a picnic? Since she loved the park so much, we will have to get her some new clothes too since hers are getting too small, I can get them today, since I'm off to the studio" lila said grabbing her notebook, quickly writing down the clothes Aubrey would need, and some extra stuff.

"We should have matching outfits too, like with the bearer hats" Jasper suggests Lila enthusiastically nods, lying down her head just on the edge of the pillow, Jasper slowly lies down to, placing Aubrey in the middle of them who was sleeping peacefully, Lila and Jasper makes eye contact, both giving eachother a small smile before Jasper places a loving a kiss on her forehead. The trio lie there until the sun rises, at 5:30 Lila sits up sliding off the side. Lila pulls off her shirt, her bare back to Jasper, she grabs a black vest top, sliding it over her arms and head, the best had ties to wrap around her body, Lila ties it aprund her waist.

"Lila?" Jasper calls she hums back acknowledging him "would you ever wear a corset?" Jasper randomly asks, as Lila pulls a white top over her head, the top being really cropped, the top stopped above her chest making a key hole cut around her chest. "I would like too, the wedding dress had a build in underbust corset but I haven't worn a proper corset" Lila said as she pulls off her shorts grabbing new underwear, pulling the underwear up her legs following a pair of black sweat pants. Jasper nods at Lila's answer, looking away as she finishes getting dressed.

(Sorry this is basically a filler chapter, but after Aubrey's birthday there will be a lot of time skips so we can finish this story and start the new one)
