Sitting in her art studio, drawing on the giant canvas, the large family photo that was taking at the reception of the wedding, Bella and Edward in the middle, then on Bella's side stood Alice, Carlisle and Esme, then on Edward's side was Lila, Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett. Lilas skirt tucked under her knees which she sat on, "Jaz?" Lila calls hearing Jasper shuffle from upstairs, his house shoes tapping down the stairs and across the hard wood floor. "Yes doll?" Jasper inquires, his blonde locks peeping from behind the door.
"Can you check this drawing for me?" Lila asks standing up, opening the door wider. Jasper looks around the room, not having been in there often, noticing the growing collection of paints, and rolls of fabric that was tucked into the corner. Lila ruffles her hair, Jasper fully walks in, making sure not to step on any neglected pencils or erasers on the floor. Jasper sits down on the back of of his heels, "hm, can I borrow your pencil doll?" Jasper asks. Lila hands him the pencil that she was using. Jasper grabs the printed photo Lila was using for reference, he lightly fixed the hair that Lila had drawn on herself from the photo "there you go, your fringe was a bit off" Jasper said standing back up. Lila leans up kissing Jasper's cheek.
"Thank you, now Choo, I need to start painting" Lila said, gently pushing Jasper out the door, his slipper fall off his foot, Lila shuts the door, but was cut off by a knock. "Can I have my slipper please doll?" Jasper asked. Lila grabs his slipper from the floor, she swings open the door, and holds out the slipper to Jasper. "Thank you-" Jasper trails off as Lila slowly closes the door with a wide smile. She quickly sirs back down, setting up all the paint that she needs. The scent of oil paints waft through the house, whilst Lila starts painting the background base layer.
Whilst Jasper is sat upstairs, his secret stack of books on the bed, being individually wrapped in recycled newspaper and stacked in the order of biggest to smallest. Wrapping the books with twine, adding a name tag with Lila's name, in calligraphy, tying it with a small bow. Hiding the books back in their original spot moving back to the other present he had hidden from Lila, the small pink crushed velvet box sits in the palm of his hand, opening the box, where the ring sat in the middle of the box, the band silver, in the middle sat a raw amethyst stone, with 3 small chunks of smoked quartz each side of the Amethyst. Smiling at the ring before closing the box and hiding it once again.
Jasper heads back down stairs to check on Lila and her painting, Jasper slips into the room, sitting down at the desk, the chair's pillow squishing down. "I'm almost done with the base layer, I think it should be done before Christmas" Lila said who leans back paint, on her chest and face, paint brushes tucked into her hair between her ear, "it looks so good so far doll, they will love it" Jasper said his hands resting on Lila's shoulders both staring at the painting, till the deafening ring tone of the phoen cancels put the silence of the house. Both vampires sigh. Lila stands up her skirt swaying as she walks. Both walking down to the landline of the house. "Hello?" Lila answered, her tongue licking over her teeth.
