2 days before Lila's birthday~

Jasper sits at the dinning table with Aubrey "it's mommy's birthday soon, we should make her a card" Jasper says to Aubrey, on the table was a packet of coloured crayons, and coloured pencils along with a packet of blank cards. Jasper opens the crayons and coloured pencil packets, pulling them out of the boxes, Aubrey grabs onto a pink crayon "you're going to use the pink one? Mommy loves pink" Jasper said kissing the crown of Aubrey's head, she holds up the crayon showing Jasper "dada" Aubrey says, making him hold the pink crayon then she grabs a purple crayon "you want me to use the pink one?" Jasper asked but Aubrey snatches the pink crayon back. Jasper laughs watching the little girl guard the two crayons with her life.

Jasper opens the blank cards, placing one in front of Aubrey, who scribbles away on the card, Jasper grabs his own card grabbing a Blue pencil and starts making blue blobs filling them in, changing the pencil making orange squiggly lines using the bright colours to make a funky trip pattern on the card Aubrey slaps Jasper's arm making him look at Aubrey "what is it baby?" Jasper asked she points to the card that was covered in pink and purple lines " oh princess it's beautiful, mommy will love it" Jasper cooes stroking Aubrey's hair "let me write on them then we can put them in their envelope" Jasper said grabbing a pen that was at the side ready, opening Aubrey's card, he takes off the lid and holds it in his free hand, as he writes on the card, Aubrey puts her hand on top. "Are you helping me?" Jasper asks a large smile on his face, Aubrey babbles a bit her words becoming better. Jasper writes on his own before he puts them in their separate envelopes. "Mommy will be home soon so we will have to hide these" Jasper said standing up, Aubrey standing on her own on the floor as well. Jasper packs away the pencils and crayons, holding them in his hand along with the cards. Aubrey holds Jasper's free hand, they both walk slowly to the stairs taking one step at a time. They walk to the master bedroom, Jasper puts the cards in a bag inside his wardrobe, he turns around hearing Aubrey wrustle about, seeing Aubrey try to open the bedside drawer Jasper rushes forward "you can't go in there sweetheart" Jasper said making sure the drawer was shut before picking her up. They walk down stairs just as Lila walks through the door "mama!" Aubrey squeals holding her arms out to Lila.

"Hey baby" Lila said taking the bouncey baby from Jasper, Lila gives Aubrey a kiss on the cheek, "hey doll" Jasper said leaning down giving Lila a kiss "how was the studio?" Jasper asked noticing how Lila tenses up, before letting out a sigh. She sets Aubrey down who wobbles her way to the living room hearing the theme song of Noddy. Jasper leads Lila into the living room, her feet dragging on the floor "you're wearing the crocs" Lila said in a bit of disbelief. Jasper laughs "well yeah they are comfortable" Jasper said flopping down onto the couch bringing Lila with him, her head in his lap, her legs tucked to her bum, whilst Aubrey sits on the rug looking up at the cartoon on the TV screen. "What happened at studio?" Jasper asked stroking Lila's hair with his left hand, the right resting on Lila's waist. "One of my canvases broke when I was working on it, I worked on that piece for over 30 hours, it broke just before I finished, so I need to start again" Lila said turning her head up at Jasper. "This may lighten your mood doll, but Aubrey almost went in our bedside table drawer" Jasper said, waiting for Lila's reaction, Lila breaks a smile "you stopped her right? She can't see that stuff" Lila said, hopping she didn't see the stuff inside the drawer.

Jasper shakes his head lightly "don't worry she didn't see anything" Jasper said Lila letting out a big exhale.

~lilas birthday~

Lila had spent the night at the studio since the day before was Jasper's day off, Lila walks up to the front door, slowly swinging it open Aubrey runs through the kitchen, to the entryway screaming hearing her mom come home, Lila kneels down her jeans crinkling, her oversized hoodie almost touching the floor. "Hap" Aubrey says hugging Lila around the neck. Lila hugs Aubrey around her waist "thank you honey" Lila says planting a kiss on her forehead Aubrey let's go before running back to Jasper who was in the garden, Lila heads upstairs, ready to change her paint covered clothes. Discarding her hoodie as she walks across the landing, she quickly changes her stained clothes, into a blue short sun dress with a v cut in the neckline that was left on the bed by Jasper.

Lila walks down stairs, seeing the happy birthday banner and balloons "why is he so extra?" Lila mumbles to herself, her feet tapping against the floor tiles as she enters the kitchen, she walks out into the garden, finding Jasper setting the plat pots back up, as they fell over during the night from the wind, Aubrey was sat on the bench watching Jasper. "Morning jaz" Lila said, Jasper turns around taking a deep inhale spinning around, hiding his face in his hands, letting out a shaky breath, draggig his hands on his face, he looks over his shoulder at Lila before turning away "give me a minute doll" Jasper says staring at the plant pots.

Lila laughs sitting next to Aubrey on the bench,once Jasper collects himself he stands up, wiping his hands on his trousers. Lila stands up as Jasper stands in front of her "happy birthday doll, sorry you just look so beautiful" Jasper said hugging Lila tightly, she hugs back "thank you" Lila said pulling away, "come on then let's go inside" Lila said picking up Aubrey, Lila wipes her feet on the rough door mat before the three walk into the living room, Lila sits down on the couch, Aubrey sitting next to her "wait here doll let me get you the bag" Jasper said running up the stairs, he grabs the light blue bag with shimmery silver dots on, coming down stairs, making a sharp 180 facing the wall "that dress will kill be by tonight" Jasper thought thought to himself he spins back around and finishes walking down the stairs, walking into the living room "here you go doll" Jasper said holding out the bag. Lila takes the bag from him as he sits down on the floor, crossing his legs. Lila takes the envelopes from the bag, she opens the first one revealing a pink and purple squiggles, opening the card reading the inside. Lila leans over to Aubrey, Jasper glimpses at Lila before falling backwards covering his face.

Lila looks at Jasper bursting into a fit of laughter, Lila opens the other card reading the inside, before walking over to the TV unit setting them down, Jasper peaks through his hands only to roll over onto his side, after seeing Lila's underwear "I'm sorry" Jasper said muffled by his hands. Aubrey climbs off the couch and crawls over to Jasper pulling away his hands. Jasper roars pulling Aubrey into his arms and blows raspberries on Aubrey's neck making her laugh loudly. Lila sits back on the couch, pulling out a fluffy my melody plush, in a pink winter jacket and bunny slippers, holding it in her arms as she pulls out the next item which was a set of headphones wrapped in pink fur with little bear heads on each speaker with a white nose and blood dripping from its mouth, "these are so cool" Lila said admiring the headphones, setting them on the teddies head. Peaking back into the bag, she grabs a pair of white fluffy fingerless mittens, she flips them around finding a cat paw print on the palm side. "Jaz do you want to tell me something? I mean I'm not complaining, like the bunny ears now these?" Lila asks laughing at Jasper when he gives her a guilty smile. He sits up letting Aubrey fall in his lap, "we both know it's what you wanted" Jasper said stroking Bimini as she passes by, hopping onto the couch next to Lila. Lila puts the stuff back into the bag.

For the rest of the day Lila and Jasper would play with Aubrey and watching movies, till the sky turned black.

Lila takes the sleeping Aubrey, from her lap, and walks up stairs to set the baby down for the night, she walks down stairs, listening to Jasper play their Vinyl player, Jasper sits back down on the couch. Lila walks past and goes straight to the kitchen, running the tap, as she fills the sink with Aubrey's dirty plates, as she washes the dishes Jasper comes up behind lila wrapping his arms around Lila's waist, leaning down trailing kisses from her ear down her neck. Lila slowly turns around in his arms, Jasper trails his hands down gripping onto the back of Lila's thighs picking her up and placing her on the kitchen counter next to the sink, both in a heated make out, Lila's fingers tugging on Jasper's hair.

Jasper trails his hands back up Lila's legs, flipping the dress up onto her stomach,pulling away from Lila's lips, he bends down hooking Lila's band of her underwear, pulling them down her legs until they fall to the floor, he trails kisses up Lila's legs into her inner thigh as she puts her legs over his shoulders...
