(THIS is sad)
"H-horror?" Blue stuttered, limping over to the bloody mess of bones before him, the figure coughed.
Blood was pooling at the figures teeth, his breaths were mere hisses of pain as he felt the familiar end was taking him over just like before a reset.
Except there was no reset this time.
"B-b-blue?" Horror asked, not able to see, a small hand caressed his shoulder.
He was comforted knowing someone was here.
Someone cared.
"I'm here" the voice was hiccuping, horror felt hot tears hit his face.
That wasn't right, blue shouldn't be crying.
"Blue don't cry buddy" even though it was hard to speak, he tried to comfort his little friend.
"I can't help I-it" Blue muttered, the grip on Horrors shoulder tightened.
"Y-you okay right? You're gonna make it!" Blue started to try and get him up, Horror yelped as pain shot through him.
Blue stopped his efforts, not wanting to admit to himself what was happening.
His friend was dying.
"D-do something!" He heard Blue cry out.
Who else was here?
"Blue we have to go!" Cross spoke, seemingly close.
"Not without him!" Blue yelled, Horror flinched as that was so close to his throbbing skull.
Horror felt his body numbing, he must be dusting.
"We have to I'm sorry Blue" Cross was much more gentle, or at least his voice was.
"No!" Blue clung to horror, shaking violently, he wasn't leaving his friend behind.
"Blue-"
"Blue...I-it's okay" horror tried to reach out to him, searching, something slid into his hand.
It was blues hand and it gripped tightly onto horrors.
"I'm going little guy...I'm sorry" Horror was facing facts, he wasn't getting up from this .
At least he did something good in his life and that was saving Blues.
"No! No your not! Don't talk like that!" Blue cried out, his hand not letting go.
"Cross.."
"I'm here" Cross was much closer, Horror could tell.
"Take care of him please..." Horror begged, Cross was himself on the verge of tears.
"I will" Cross said, his voice wavering.
Horror exhaled painfully, yet, his soul was at peace.
"No! Horror don't you dare!" Blue was almost screaming.
But horror couldn't hear him anymore.
"Horror?...HORROR!" Blue was shaking him, tears running down his cheeks like rivers, Cross gripped him by his shoulders and yanked him away as horror turned to grey dust.
Blue gripped air now where Horrors hand used to be.
"HORROR!" Screeched Blue, denial heavy in his soul.
Cross pulled Blue to him, holding him tightly against him, blue suddenly buried his face into Cross's body and wailed.
"Hey! What's going on-" Killer was running toward them only to halt at the scene before him.
Blood and dust scattered the ground in front of Cross who was holding a small Blue against him, who was screaming and sobbing into the guy.
"Horror...?" Killer asked, Cross looked at him and shook his head.
"Help me get him out of here" Cross said bluntly, standing up as he helped Blue get his feet.
Blue gripped onto Cross like a life line, Cross exhaled as he swept Blue off the ground and held him close to his chest.
Cross never handled grief like this, and never was around this type of grief. Where he was from you weren't allowed to exactly grieve.
But he wasn't about to let Blue have to do the same. Killer scouted ahead, waving them forward as the ushered toward the group.
Nightmare saw them first, looking confused as they ran to them.
"Where's horror?!" Nightmare yelled, looking around them and all over until he saw Blues face.
"Oh..." Nightmare had reality slam into him like a truck.
Nightmare looked toward where they ran from and bowed his head, as in acknowledgment of his fallen friend.
Dust and Altyin were next to rush toward their friends, realizing one was not with them.
Altyin inhaled at the realization, her hands curling into fists as she tried to keep herself together.
Dust looked down, in anger. Blaming himself for not getting away from his attacker in time.
He shouldn't blame himself but he did.
"I got him" Altyin walked forward to Cross, speaking gently.
Cross handed Blue to her, as if he were a small child.
He whimpered, muttering Horrors name.
Altyin hushed him, hugging him right to her.
"Friends.." Nightmare began getting everyone's attention as the rest of the group finally trailed to them.
"We lost a good friend today, and his death is not a easy one we will get over, but do not forget what we are doing. Do not let his death be in vain, for now we fight for him"
Everyone around nodded there heads.
"For Horror!" Dust yelled, raising his fist in the air.
"For horror!" The rest followed suit.
Rest now horror, for you are free. Thought Nightmare as they went home.
Home with empty hearts but new motivation.
