"Come in!"

The girl had barely any time to open the door when her wrist was grabbed and she was thrust into the bedroom, sighing as she gazed up at the pouting periwinkle-haired female.

"You're late!"

"I... it's... ten seconds after-"

"Late!"

"Nejire-"

"Late!"

She sweat-dropped, walking over and sitting cross-legged on the floor, leaning against Mirio's bedframe as she gazed around curiously.

The walls were painted a cream-yellow, the room surprisingly neat - she would have thought Mirio's room would have looked slightly messier. A photo frame of smaller him and a navy-haired male - presumably Amajiki as a child - stood on the study desk, which also had his textbooks stacked. His Hero costume hung on a rack behind the door, a photo frame of him and his family on his bedside table.

"Oh, Rie!" the blonde noticed, Amajiki gazing up from his phone and muttering a low 'hello' in greeting, "you're here!"

"Please don't compare me to All Might," she heaved, Mirio gazing at her with a blank expression and grinning.

"I... asked a few of my servants to find a little bit of information on Crimson Death," she lied, handing them the small notebook.

The Big 3 stared.

"A little?" Amajiki whispered hoarsely, "this is..." he turned a page, muttering words of disbelief as he eventually silenced, his eyes scanning over the pages, his eyebrows furrowing.

Quirk: Assassin

Assassin allows Crimson to control weapons, summoning them and manipulating them to her will. Her chosen weapons would have to be a dagger, knife, or sword. She rarely uses her collection of guns, as she rather quickly ran out of gunpowder - and her aiming still needed to be worked on, especially with moving targets. Bows and arrows were a similar issue - her aiming needs to be improved, and they also drain too much stamina - summoning a quiver of arrows often results in her collapsing after five minutes.

She could also control an opponent's bloodflow and oxygen levels - not that I know how it works, exactly, and how it goes against the laws of science, but it looks like a useful method if she wants to avoid bloodshed or wounds - evidence that would be used against her. Using them would require utmost concentration, and, like Aizawa's Erasure, she needs to be looking at the target for her to be able to control their bloodflow or oxygen levels - or both.

this was the first sign

Isn't this... a little similar to Rie's Quirk?

His eyes narrowed, sighing as Mirio perked a brow, asking him what the matter was.

"Nothing," he muttered, handing it over.

Mirio hummed, skimming through the book and sweat-dropping.

"'A little', huh?" he muttered, "isn't this... a little too specific?"

this was the second sign

"It doesn't make much sense for the Number 1 Villain to have this much information revealed about her... right?" Amajiki agreed.

"Hey, wait!" Nejire piped up, "how do we even know Crimson Death is a girl? It could be a male, too, right?"

"Did you guys see the video after the whole Kamino Ward incident?" Rie pulled out her phone, searching up the video and playing it for them to see. The trio's eyebrows furrowed, though

Her voice sounds familiar...

this was the third sign

"I'm gonna go downstairs and get some water, I'll be back."

As soon as the door closed, Nejire slammed her hands down on the small table, the boys jolting as they turned to face her pouting figure.

"Hey, while she's gone, I wanna ask something!"

"G-go ahead..."

"Hm?"

"Isn't this Rie's number?"

She shoved the notebook into Amajiki's face, the male sighing and stating that he couldn't see what she was trying to point out, gently pushing her away and grabbing the notebook. In one hand, he scrolled through his contact list, pressing Rie's contact. His eyes widened slightly, muttering inaudible words to himself in realisation.

Wait a minute...

"Do I call?"

There was a moment of silence as the four waited, all eyes on the small device in Suneater's hand.

"Yeah, why not?"

He called.

Inside Rie's bag, her phone rang.

All eyes slowly went to Rie's bag, realisation and horror slowly dawning on their faces.

this was the fourth and final sign

"I'm back," the door closed, but her voice was distant to their ears. "Hm? Oh, someone's calling..."

Her voice trailed off as her jaw tightened.

Fuck.

She declined the call.

"Rie?" Nejire peeped.

She didn't have to turn around to know that their faces masked ones of horror.

"Yeah?"

"Um..."

Ba-dump.

Ba-dump.

Ba-dump.

"Ah, you know, I just remembered that I asked Itona to call me," she piped up suddenly, shocking the third-years, "about the... uh... security system... near our dorms..."

She slung her bag over her shoulder, her hand reaching around behind her for the doorknob, flashing them a quick smile before slamming the door into their faces.

"Wait, Rie, come back!"

"Rie!"

"Wait!"

"We need to talk!"
