Ah, crap.

She had momentarily forgotten that she had given Ingenium permission to inform the class representative permission to inform him that she was an assassin, Japan's best.

So here they were, Iida crossing his arms and staring at the girl, Rie with her hands in her pockets and staring back up at him.

"So."

"So," she echoed.

Students walked around them to lunch, chatting merrily as they trotted to Lunch Rush's cafeteria for lunch break, unaware of the socially awkward girl waiting for the boy to start speaking.

"You're Poison Dart?"

"Not so loud!" she hissed, dragging the startled boy into an empty classroom, sighing as she gazed to the side, leaning on a table, the boy's eyes, "so... I lied."

"About what?" he raised a brow.

"My Quirk... it's not called Knight... it's Assassin," her gaze lowered, the navy-haired boy remaining silent, "I can summon and control any weapon at will, I can hear their heartbeat and control their blood flow, but this gives me excessive bloodlust and the impression of a snake when I attack..."

Iida was silent as he listened to the girl's explanation and he couldn't help but wonder what she had gone through in her childhood, considering not many people he knew were assassins, nor did they want to become a Hero.

"And... I was the one who attacked your brother," she muttered, more to herself than him but he heard it loud and clear. The navy-haired boy continued staring at her with a blank expression, terrifying herself as she wasn't sure of what he was thinking. "You're not... mad?"

"Why would I be?" he began chopping the air, "my brother told me what you did, so I don't know how I'd be able to thank you."

He stopped moving his arms as he noticed the girl gripping the edge of the table, gritting her teeth as her purple hair covered her eyes. He relaxed slightly, though he noticed how she tensed, startling to tremble slightly. If it was from anger or worry, however, he wasn't sure and he wasn't sure if he wanted to know.

"Am I... a Hero or a Villain?"

The question took him off guard, the boy doing a double-take as he blinked, unsure of what the girl was trying to say. She shook her head, explaining that Edgeshot had recommended her into U.A. because he saw her potential to become a Hero, despite the number of people that she had killed in the past; however, as the school days went on, she began finding herself in a bit of a tight spot, not knowing whether she was a Hero or Villain despite the teachers convincing her otherwise.

"I mean... how can a murderer like me be a Hero?"

The boy had nothing to say to that.

"Iida."

He raised a brow, his heart skipping a beat as she raised her head.

"If you tell anyone... I will find out and I will kill you. And I'm being serious."
