Two eyes opened in the dark, revealing two golden orbs that maliciously shone through the dark alleyway. Her mouth curved upwards into a sneer, her boots clanked along the concrete path as she chuckled darkly to herself, a dagger in her hands as she gravitated towards her Target, a Villain who had been terrorizing nearby towns, going on a torture spree.

Then again, she wasn't one to argue against it.

After all, she was an assassin.

A sigh escaped her lips as she towered over the Villain who forced a sneer, gritting his teeth as she loomed over him, squatting down to meet him at eye level. Her eyes narrowed delicately as she struck her arm with her dagger, perplexing the man further as she licked the blood off of it. A sinister smile crossed over her face.

"Good," she stated, her voice sickly sweet, "my dagger is sharp enough."

"You're a sick bastard," he muttered.

"I take that as a compliment, good sir," she grinned, twirling her knife in her hands. She made to strike him-

A flash of red pierced through the man, the girl furrowing her brows in puzzlement as she stood up warily, eyeing her surroundings as she gripped her grip around the dagger tightened. A man silently landed behind her, his eyes watching the alert girl. Feeling his presence, her eyes finally landed on a slim male whose grey hair was shaped into three sharp points that covered the left side of his face, a blue mask covering his mouth.

He silently stared at her as her eyes widened, forcing a smirk.

"Hey, that was my-"

"Target?" he finished, the girl's eyes widening as she gritted her teeth, blindly swinging at him as he continued dodging his moves with an amused hum. He eventually thinned himself into a line, slipping behind her and knocking her to the ground, pinning her down with a triumphant smirk.

"Who the hell," she struggled, "do you think... you... are?"

"Ninja Hero: Edgeshot," he introduced, loosening his grip slightly, "and you are?"

"Rie Hassake," she muttered through gritted teeth as he tightened his grip once again.

"And, correct me if I am wrong, Hassake," he trod on thin ice, "but you are the daughter of Reyna and Ichiro?"

She tensed, breathing shallowly as she struggled to no avail. Taking this as a 'yes', he let her go as she sat, eventually standing up as the Pro Hero stared at her steadily. She gazed at the side, rubbing her arm self-consciously as a heavy sigh escaped her lips, letting both arms fall to her sides.

"Yeah... I'm the child of two infamous assassins... some of the most powerful Villains..." she murmured, "my entire life, I've been raised to believe that killing is right. But once more Heroes began making their debut..."

She trailed off, her voice slightly wavering at the end; Edgeshot couldn't help but take pity on the misguided girl. He smiled.

"Well... let me tell you, your skills are really one to behold," he complimented, "I think you could be a great Hero."

The girl gazed at him in alarm.

"B-but I'm an as-"

"That doesn't matter; what's your Quirk?" he interrupted.

She explained her Quirk to him as he hummed, stating that it could be used for more things than just killing, the girl couldn't help but disagree. After all, how was she supposed to use her Quirk differently if she had been training to use it to kill for literally her entire life? Edgeshot noticed her distress as he placed a hand on her shoulder.

"You're definitely not going to refuse an offer to U.A. High, right?"
