The boy reacted a moment too late, a Nomu swooping down and grabbing him and flying further up, his classmates calling his name as the Pro Heroes internally debated what to do without further injuring him. Much to everybody's surprise, the man who the teenagers had previously defeated stood up, licking the Nomu's spilled blood as he slowly descended, crashing into the road as Stain rushed forward, killing the creature. They skidded forward, forming a dust cloud as they yelled his name. The cloud cleared eventually to see the boy slowly staring up at his saviour, the Hero Killer Stain.
"So... the idiots have come out, huh?" he growled lowly, drooling heavily as the green-haired boy hurriedly scurried back, "this is all... to create a more just society!"
"He... saved Midoriya?" the girl murmured in a daze.
"He just killed someone without hesitation..." a Hero gritted his teeth.
"I mean... he does that all the time, I"m not sure why you're so shocked," Rie gave him a side-glance.
"Get ready to fight, you lot!" Ace called, grimacing at his younger sister who cowered, "you're in a lot of trouble, young lady."
"I-I'm sorry..."
"Why the hell are you lot standing around in a group?" snorted a familiar voice, the group turning to face Endeavor with Edgeshot behind him, narrowing his eyes at the girl's injuries, their gazes travelling to the boy who was struggling to get the Hero Killer to release him, "but don't tell me..."
He pounded on the ground, violently struggling underneath him as he didn't release him.
"Endeavor... Edgeshot..."
The said Pro Heroes readied themselves for battle as Gran Torino tried to stop them.
"You're both fake..." he trailed off, his mask floating to the ground as he emitted a large amount of bloodlust, more than the girl had ever released or experienced, "I must... no... we must, Rie..."
"M-me?" she stammered, trembling violently as he turned his gaze to her, "I-I d-don't u-understand-"
"Someone must be dyed in red... I must take back what it means to be a Hero!" the girl wasn't sure if it was just her, but her vision began to blur as the moon behind him turned crimson red, "come! Come and try and get me, you fake Heroes! The only one I'll let kill me is the true Hero... All Might!"
He was cut off mid-sentence and froze, the teenagers and adults staring in confusion.
"W... what just happened?" murmured Todoroki, struggling to keep his voice from shaking.
"He's unconscious," came the reply as the teenagers fell to the floor in shock, trying to recover from both their injuries and the Hero Killer's overwhelming bloodlust. The teenagers learnt later that at that moment, a broken rib had punctured a deep wound into his lung, rendering him dead.
Needless to say, the students were never pulling a stunt like that again.

"Morning..." murmured the girl groggily.
"Morning?" Midoriya sent her a slightly amused glance, "it's noon already, Rie."
"I-is it?" she flushed darkly, the boys chuckling as she shot up, groaning in pain as she flopped back down onto the bed, "man... I wasn't able to sleep..."
"Thinking about it now, we did something amazing, huh?"
"Amazing..." echoed the girl, "seeing an ending like that really makes you feel like it's a miracle we're alive..."
