Riley POV
The main hall is filled with music and the chandelier serves as a perfect lighting for the event. They've dimmed the lights and brought out wonderful food. The bar were the food is being served is filled with tons of people outing and standing around. The music hasn't started yet and I try to find and opening near the counter so I may sit and eat. There's a spot near a boy who has on a black suit. There's a familiar look to that's suit. Daniel turns his head to the side and glances at the empty bar stool which I am waking towards to be seated at. My take my seat."Can I take this seat?" I ask him while his head is still turned.
"Actually I was savi-." He stops short when he sees me.
"Wow. You look stunning. You were before but your breathtaking." He says grinning.
"You've seen me in this dress earlier." I say grinning.
"Yes, but. I don't know. Your hair wasn't as curly before. I love your curly hair. " he picks up and price of damp curl and lets it drop back down over my shoulder.
"That's because I had to wet it to activate all the curl. My hair is still a little wet."
"Beautiful..."
"And your a might fine sight yourself."
He grins at me and sips his drink. "Would you like any wine?" He references to his clear glass filled with pink liquid. "It's very good."
He moves his glass in a circular motion and I smile but shake my head no. Drinking isn't my thing...I suppose I could have a sip though.
"I'll take a sip." I motion toward the person behind the bar.
He bar tender is dark skinned like me with curly hair pulled back into a pony tail behind which falls onto his back. He's wearing a black and red tux. And looks so very professional.
"How may I help you?""Yes, may I have whatever he is drinking?" I motion towards his glass.
"Yes ma'am. Anything else?"
I look around and see that some people are eating awful meals and others are snacking on merely bread. My stomach growls and rub my stomach. I look around again to see just what people are eating. Some have steak others have lobster, it's like a full restaurant going on.
"Yes. May I have some Italian bread and whatever wine he drinking. I can eat later."
He nods and then walks around and disappears into a back room. I turn to Daniel.
"Thank you for inviting me to." I motion to the room. "Here." I finish.
"You probably would have attended anyways considering your staying here." He grins.
"No , I didn't know anything if this event before you told me actually. Also, you gave me this wonderful dress to wear." I stand and do a twirl. "Which I love by the way."
"Your most certainly welcome."
The man returns and hands me my wine and bread on a plate. "Here you are miss." He leaves to attend someone else.
I see two more people come from the back of the room with more plates of food. Both are dressed in very nice suits. The lights dim and music stars. Daniel slips his hand into mine and strokes my hand.
"Would you like to dance?"
"I just get my food and wine and your whisking me off to dance. I'm starved!"
He glances at my bread and laughs. "I can't tell. For you to be starved you sure picked a meal that will fill you up."
We laugh and I try to quickly eat my bread and drink my wine. I eat and drink as quickly as I can without being unladylike. I wipe my mouth which wasn't elegant at all. I'm not wearing any lipstick or makeup at all actually so I'm able to wipe and touch my face as I please. I take his hand again and smile.
"Okay now I can dance. Since I've actually finished my food."
"Since you've finished you 'snack' you mean. You'll have to eat later. But if your fine now, then we can wait until after the dancing. Until after I sweep you off your feet."
I smile and grin. He leads me to the dance floor as a slow song soothes me even further. He spins me and dips me. Smiling, I tilt my head back into the dip and my eyes lock on Peter. He's frowning at me and also Daniel.
His arms is draped around he girl from earlier. The one who he invited into his room. She's dressed in a mint green dress that stops at about her knees. It's really ugly if you ask me, but maybe it's just because I don't like her. His arm falls from her shoulders and she pouts. He stalks forwards towards us.
