Riley's POV
How dare he! How dare he talk to that girl! He claims to have feelings me ...and I know I may feel them too...but he's flirting around. I shuffle out the hotel doors and look for the nearest stores.
Just my luck, a clothing store. I opens the doors and the people look up at me for a second. Some people staring longer than they need to. Ignoring the looks I go to the left side, where I see all the make clothing items are, and where I'm getting most of my stares from.
"Mrs." I keep walking and look at the white button down shirts.
"Mrs?" I turn around and see my caller, a tall muscular and very handsome man.
He has grey eyes and black hair that hangs just a tad. His jaw is defined and there's a cut under his left eye. He has a ruggedly handsome look to him, like he's been in a couple fights. I blink at him waiting on him to continue.
"I'm going to get to the point, your very beautiful, gorgeous. I haven't seen you in this store or around here I don't think. If surely remember a face like yours." He smiles and continues.
"And there's and event going on at the hotel up the street, the really fancy one, I've been invited, and Id like you to go as my date. And before you say that you don't have anything to wear, My father owns this clothing store and you could surely borrow one of its dresses."
Thinking of Peter I wonder how he'd feel. I shouldn't do it. But then again, he's taking little miss Maryland to his room!
"Well how can I decline once you've given me an offer to a dress and to be your date to a nice event? That would just be wrong." I smile at him.
He grins back down at me. He really is tall, I think he's around Peters height. Ugh Peter, he will have to get his clothes later.
"Will you be so kind to show me your dresses?" I ask
"Of course m'lady." He turns the opposer direction and leads me towards the back in the other side.
There's a long black dress with a lace chest area and lace full length sleeves. It's gorgeous, I want that one.
I tug his arm. "I want that one." I say pointing.
He smirks. "You'll look mighty fine in that dress, let's see and make sure it's your size."
He grabs the dress off he high rack and hands it to me.
"My names Daniel, by the way." He gives me a crooked smile.
"I'm Riley. And where is the dressing room."
Right next to you. I turn to my right and there it is. I grin up at him and he grins back at me. I really hope this dress fits, It was the only one on the rack. I go into the still and lip off my shoes and clothes and put the dress on.
Looking in the mirror, I look really good. I turn to the side and see how my butt looks, wonderful. I smooth it down and hear the stall near mine close.
I admire the view of myself and remember that Daniel is waiting. He's not there when I exit the dressing room. I look around but I'm unwilling to leave the area with my things in the room unattended.
"Right behind you." I turn and see Daniel dressed in a full black suit.
With silver and grey trimmings and matching tie. He looks really good.
"Like I said Riley, mighty fine sight." I smile and go back into the dressing room and change back to normal.
When I emerge, Daniel is already waiting by the dressing room door. I hand him the dress and thank him.
"So when does the event start, what is the event? I think I should have asked that before I agreed to go. But oh well." He grins.
"It's a dinner and a dance in the main hall. Everything is already paid for so no worries about that. It'll be a great time. I hope you can dance." I instantly think of me and Peter dancing in my room that one morning.
"Yea kind of. So what time does it start?"
"It starts at 7 and ends at 11. I can pick you up from wherever your staying then drop you back off if you want."
"That's fine, I'm actually staying at the hotel." He blinks at me as If he has to register what I've said.
"You know that place is really expensive, are we speaking of the same place?" I sigh.
"Yes sir we are."
"You staying there with your parents?" My eyes water up at the fact that I may not have any living parents...
"I'm sorry, I didn't know any better Riley." I sniffle and wipe away my line tear that has made a streak down my cheek.
"It's fine. And no I'm staying there with a friend."
"I hope it's not a male." He raises a brow.
"Well, it is. But we're just friends and we have separate rooms." Due to him.
"Okay well then that's cool too. He's like your best friend?"
"We're sort of not seeing eye to eye right now. But he could be." I knit my eye brows together and but then smile and try to lighten my own mood.
"That who you were here shopping for, over in the men's section?" I giggle and he smiles.
"Yes sir. But he can come get his own clothes. "
I need to be headed back.
"What time is it by the way? I need to be heading back."
He pulls out an iPhone 6. I really should have grabbed my phone. But then again they may be tracking it, which is how they knew were we lived. Or maybe the people have been watching us all along. Maybe I shouldn't endanger Daniel.
"It's 4:15." Okay yea I should be going.
"I'll see you later then okay? At the main ball room you say, at seven? " he chuckles.
"Girl I said nothing about a main ball room, I said the main hall. But yes it's at seven."
I stick out my tongue and smirk and turn to leave while smoothing the dress out over my arm.
Back to the hotel. I have time to kill, I think I'll eat. My stomach growls, I'll definitely eat. I need a watch though, or something to help me keep track of the time. I'll worry about that later.
When I enter all eyes in the lobby are on me. I grin and nervously walk back to my room. What am I doing? As far as boys go.
Chet wants to date me, then Peter and I have an undeniable pull to each other and attraction but he just gets so angry and now he's being childish and with another girl, and then there is Daniel, who looks like he knows how to show a girl a good time and like he knows exactly what he wants and how to cut to the chase.
Opening my door my stomach growls and lay the dress on the bed and and practically run to the fridge for some food. I grab two oranges and a banana. There's miracle whip and turkey sliced meet in the fridge along with some bread.
I prepare a sandwich and go to he bed and press the on button for the descending ceiling TV. Flicking trough the channels I discover there is absolutely nothing worth watching on the TV. I shut it off and sit.
What am I supposed to do with myself to kill the time.
I start to hum and eat. Soft melodic tunes, random tunes. When I finish I get up and my soft swaying turns into full dancing around the room.
