Riley POV
We're lead into this huge building, a guard on either side of all of us. Peters in front of me and Daniel is behind me.Peter is very calm. By calm I mean, calm to be pulled from a van, and to have landed flat in his face, he seems awfully calm.
The inside of the building is all white so far. We're going down a very extensive hallway with a few door on the sides here and there.
There are no pictures or signs or anything. Just a plane white hallway that seems to go on forever. I feel like I'm in a psych ward or some kind of meticulously clean hospital.
The lights over head flicker as we get further down the hall. What the heck is this place. I take the time of the long walk to quickly study the men.
The two men with Peter are both tall and cocky. The man to my left, the one that smoothed my dress back down and tried to comfort me when Peter fell from the van, is shorter than me by about two inches, but he's really cocky. I turn to him and he looks at me from the corner of his eye, friendly bright blue eyes. Bright blue like Peters.
The man on the right of me is tall and thin, and he walks weird, like an automaton. I try to glance at him from my side view and he takes notice and full fledge looks at me, with dark brown hate filled eyes, and scowls, then he rolls his eyes! He has the insolence, and the nerve to roll his eyes at me!
I turn around try to get a glance at the two men with Daniel. The man on the right of me grabs my arm and forces me to turn around and keep walking.
I lean over to the right to look past Peter and the man on my right pushes my head back so that I'm not leaning anymore. I really dislike this guy
Before I was rudely pushed back to walking straight, I noticed that there isn't anymore hallway left. It's a dead end, we have to be entering a room somewhere far down here.
A door on the right opens from the inside as we approach it. Peters men motion for him to go inside and they follow him in. Me and Daniel both follow suit.
Upon entering the room, the first thing that catches my eye is the wall on the right. The whole thing is a shelf type sort with tools and various guns and knives on it.
It reminds me of home and a sudden sweep of nostalgia runs through me. I miss my home, and my mother. I want to cry at the thought of her, now is clearly not the time.
There's a man dressed in a burgundy shirt, dark jeans, and chucks by the wall. He's wearing a ski mask over his face. He's tall, around 6'3 and he has a muscular and lean build. He looks agile and quick. His whole energy sets me on edge and I feel wrong being around him.
"Well, now that you are finally here, even though we have two extra guests, I can finally get started."
We are all ushered towards this strange man but everything in me is screaming to fight going one step further near him.
"Well..." He starts and looks around the large room, then settles his gaze directly onto me. "You can take a seat anywhere you want to." His voice light and ...joyful as he clasps his hand together.
He doesn't move his gaze from me and I feel like he's penetrating into me and looking right into my heart and soul. I'd like nothing more than to rip out his eyes just to stop the feeling. The feeling of the deepest part of me being exposed.
"Go on." he motions to the room. "Sit anywhere. I'll go get some refreshments. "
He walks closer to us and I think he's going to go past but he stops on the side of me and turns his head slowly towards me, I look down at his shoes.
"Riley..." He grabs my jaw and lifts my head so that my eyes meet his green eyes. "My, my, you have grown." He says stroking my jawline with his thumb tenderly as I look into his eyes for some hint as to why I'm here.
There's no hint there, but he doesn't look like a violent man. Maybe we can all make it out alive. Looks can be deceiving though.
His eyes seem gentle and soft. Also like they tell a story. His eyes look exactly like mine.
"Untie them..." He says without breaking his gaze from mine.
The men move to untie all of us at the same time after his demand. He drops his hand from my face and briskly walks out the room.
