Peter's POV
I can't hold on my gasp when I each the bottom. Just exactly who the heck was Riley? There are guns, knives, bow and arrows, and swords put up on all four walls on shelves of the all white room. There's a huge empty space in the center with nothing in it but a floor mat, the kind they use for people that do gymnastics.
"I can shoot...and do various other things." She tells me.
"What else can you do." I ask. When she doesn't say anything so I turn and look at her.
She looks thoughtful.
"Fight me." She says looking me in my eyes.
"What?!" My voice goes up about an octave or two. I want to protect her, not harm her.
"What if I hit you?"
"That's kind of the point...but you won't hit me." She grins oh-so- confident in herself.
"What makes you think I won't." I say grinning at her. "You think your to pretty to be hit?" I add.
"No, I'm think I'm to skilled to be hit." She smirks and blows me a kiss and walks from the bottom stairs to the center if he mat.
"Oh! And your going to fight me like that?" I motion to her body.
"Me being in my underclothes to much for you to handle while fighting?" She sighs. "But your right. I'll go change. Don't touch anything! Or I'll have to beat you up worse."
I move towards the center as she goes to skip past me.
"You keep threatening to beat me up. Do you really think you can?" I ask with a seriousness in my voice.
Light humor dances on her face as she turns back to me. "Of course I do. I'm an exceptionally skilled fighter."
She grins and continues to skip up the stairs.
Once she's gone, I move towards the wall with the knives. There are all sorts of knives here, short with thick blades and thin, long with wide blades. I see the knives that I think she packed in our bags. I pick it up to study, they're short with a thin blade.
Riley comes down the stairs but I don't turn around. I can't tell she stopped moving and she's still near the stairs. I turn slowly towards her with an eye brow raised. She now has on purgunde black shorts and a black v neck shirt.
"I know I told you not to touch anything." She says eyeing the knife in my hands.
"Sorry." I mutter.
"Put it away." Our eyes meet."So I can beat you up." She adds.
I turn pretending to put the knife away, but turn back around to face her quickly and I hurl the knife at her head.
It flys thorough the air quickly, the point facing her face. She catches it by the handle before the blade can touch her. She licks her lips and grins widely at me. She tilts her head to the side and hurls it back at me. The blade flying straight for my abs at rapid motion. Quicker than when I thereby at her.
I step to the side to evade it and it clatters to the floor after hitting the wall behind me. I look up and she's running towards me, her hair flying wildly around her face. She tried to punch me in the face I dodge it effortlessly by moving my head to the side. She goes for my ribs and I grab her wrist. She tried to knee me I block it with my available hand.
I still hold to her wrist and she turns her back to my front and presses her body against mine, then flips me over. I land on my back with a thud and open my eyes to see a foot coming towards my face. She's fast.
I roll my head to the side, narrowly missing it. I roll my body over to attempt to get up but she kicks me square in my ribs. I fly over about to feet and try to catch my breath.
I'm on my hands and knees as I see another foot flying towards my face. I stand straight up to avoid it. She shifts her body to face mine unaffected by the force of the kick and miss. It's like she has no momentum to her moves. If she misses she doesn't stumble and try to regain her balance. It's just one move after another.
She punches me dead center of my chest. My arms and legs fly in front of me as the force from her punch knocks me back a distance and off my feet. I land on my butt and roll over my head to flip over and stand. Her face is impassive. She's like a drone when she fights.
She stands straight up and looks at me. I catch my breath and move slowly towards her. She quickly closes the distance and tried to round behind me. I grab her by her throat and slam her on the mat. My hand still around her throat I release my grip a bit. She raises her legs and puts me in an arm bar.
"Ready to quit?" She asks breathless.
"Never. " with my free arm I reach and punch her in her shin.
She yelps and releases me.
We both stand and face each other. She's an amazing fighter.
Now it's my turn.
