Peters POV
I look up to see Riley get hit across the face with the butt of her attackers gun. The ropes that are tied to my wrist now have no affect on me. Something snaps inside of me, as if I've lost my humanity or something.

I move at blinding speed and grab her attacker by the throat. I lift him and snap his neck effortlessly ,with a flick of my wrist.

Pain. Pain fills my whole entire body. Starting from the center of my spine and spreading everywhere else. I think, I think I've been shot...

My mouth fills with blood and I look down at the front of my shirt. Touching the blood and looking at my hands, I have been shot. I'm sure of it.

I can't support my own weight anymore. My knees crumble and hit the ground. I fall flat on the ground but crane my head up to look at Riley.

The pain indescribable... Riley I love you.

"Riley..." I reach my hand out and my fingers twitch. Her green eyes meet my blue ones. My body shuts down.

I can no longer feel my heart beating. I can no longer move any of my limbs. It's like I'm paralyzed.

Is this death were I can still stare into Riley's face. Maybe my heaven is an eternal image of her face.

"PETER!" She wails.

It's ear drum shattering. If this is death, why can I still hear her? This must be heaven.

A new pain and fills my body. It's excruciating. Starting from the center of my spine and traveling everywhere. But, it's not the same pain as before, though still excruciating, it's different.

It's a burning and icy sensation all at the same time. My spine...it feels like it's solidifying, or...something.

I don't know what's happening.

The attacker comes and pull Riley up to her knees by her hair. Her hands fly up to try to loosen the grip, only to get her hands tied behind her back with rope.

She's crying...for me. I know she loves me. She doesn't have to say it or admit it to herself. I know she does.

My spine, whatever's happening, the process is speeding up at the sight of her in pain.

I try to flex my figures and they actually move. I squeeze my hand closed and pull my arm back to my side.

Her eyes light up at the sight of my movement and she smiles and starts to cry harder. Tears of joy.

I push my self up with my hands and struggle on my knees, looking at Riley from all fours. I grin at her.

Since I've miraculously survived, I won't hesitate to tell Riley I'm in love with her as soon as we get out this situation.

The burning and icy feeling subsides a bit. It's now more so icy then burning. It's finally bearable.

A foot connects with the center of my spine and pushes me back into the ground. Riley screeches out my name as my face smacks the dirt. Lifting my head to look at her, I grin. I can feel the dirt on my teeth. I probably look like a fool, grinning with dirt on my teeth.

What's amazing is that, It didn't hurt as much as it should have. That kick to my spine considering I have a bullet lodged in it should have been excruciating.

I felt on my skin and in my muscle tissue...but not on my spine.

I wonder why that is though.

The pain has dulled down and has almost completely subsided.

The person gripping Riley's hair tilts her head up towards the sky and puts a cloth over her face. She struggles for a few seconds and I try to break free from the ropes.

My attacker is pulling me up from my hair which actually does hurt.

A cloth covers my face and I myself struggle and my vision blurs. I look towards the sides for Daniel and see that he's already hoisted over one of the attackers shoulders. Turning my gaze back to Riley she struggles then stills, her attacker hoisting her up over his shoulders.

"Hurry and let's move!"

I hold my breath as long as I can. My attacker tickles my throat and though in the worst situation, I can't help but to giggle.

"Use more chloroform! Why isn't he knocked out!!" The attacker holding Daniel yells.

My vision has black spots...the darkness is taking over.I see the ground getting further from my face, and as I feel my body being hoisted up. I turn my head to try to find Riley, but all I can get is a glimpse of her poofy hair hanging down as we're all carried away.
