Peters POV
Riley, granddad and I sit on his couch with the TV off and face each other with Riley in the middle."I don't know." Granddad says. "My wife's had never had that issue as far as I know. But then again she never tried to dye it. "
Well great. I have this strange discoloration at the nape of my neck in the back and I'll never know why. It is rather cool though that so far I'm the only with it. Plus I think Riley likes it. Or maybe she doesn't which is why she wanted to dye my hair in first place.
"You have school coming up." Granddad states at random.
Riley groans. "I sort of don't want to go back yet. I was injured most of the summer and didn't get to do anything other than run for my life."
I'll have to do something special for her before the summer ends. She's right though. We've wither been running, fighting, or getting shot at. we did get engaged though. I smile to myself.
"You don't have a choice, doll. You have to. When are you guys getting married." Granddad asks changing the subject again.
I look to her intently. We can marry whenever Riley is ready to get married.
Riley looks to me. "When do you want to get married?" She asks.
"I think you should get married before the summer ends. Preferably before the month ends. " Granddad states before I even open my mouth.
We both look at him and look back to each other to agree. And both know why he wants us to marry so soon. He wants to see Riley get married before his time comes...
"That's a great idea. " Riley says running her hands over her hair.
After about an hour of discussing what type of wedding we wanted and the theme and such, I think we're coming to a conclusion.
"Okay. A wedding in the backyard. It's huge back there and there's a pool, then we have the bonfire to sit around after wards. I want a party themed wedding." Riley says looking at us both to determine our reactions. When neither of us say anything she continues.
"We will get married in about two days, everything should be set up by then. " She breathes.
"So you don't want a wedding planner?" Granddad clarifies.
"I am the wedding planner. I'm planning right now. " She says grinning.
"Mom will be the maid of honor and granddad will walk me down the isle. Mom will go with me later on today to get a dress. And I will call a pastor to speak for us. " She says happily and seemingly satisfied with herself.
"What about a cake?" I ask. "And the guests?"
"We will have an open wedding. All guests who want to come are welcome. We will pick some decent looking people to invite." She says as if that's obvious.
She thinks she can get all this done in basically the rest of today and tomorrow, so that we can get married day after tomorrow. I'll try not to doubt her though.
But whatever Riley wants whatever makes her happy, I'll do. Granddad goes into a coughing fit and I rise to pay is back.
"Are you okay?" Riley asks. she looks so worried...
"I'm fine. Now get out. You have a wedding to prepare." He says smiling after he's recovered from his fit.
We rise to leave "where a black suit. " Riley tells him as we're about to close the door.
"I'll wear what I want. " He says as matter of fact.

Lorraine POVI hand out wedding invitations to all decent looking teenagers that I see while I wait for Riley to step from the dressing room. I wish that Peter could be hear to see her when she comes out, but he will see her when she walks down the isle.
" Do you want to attend a wedding party?" I offer a girl her brother and mom as they leave the store.
They look about Riley's age. The girl looks to be 16 and the boy maybe 18. They look like they could be twins. The mother looks at me like I'm a crazy person.
"We already have to sit through moms wedding" the girl says displeased.
"Ours will be better though. " I say then regretting it considering the mother was right there. "It'll be like no other wedding ever. There will be swimming, a bonfire, great music, and glow sticks, food all of the works." I tell them.
Their faces light up and they shoot glances at the mother. "You both can go. " She says taking the wedding invite that I hold out.
"Invite your friends, but only if they have common sense for the actual wedding marital part. " I warn. "Oh and tell everyone to bring a swim suit."
They leave with smiles on their faces telling me that they will.
I think Riley's plan is great. She wants to start at seven and have the marital part to be short, a quick "I do". The food will be brought out and music will played. There will be ribs, burgers, steaks, all sorts of foods. There will be glow sticks in the pool water for when it gets dark, and glow lanterns hanging from the trees. For those who want to sit around a fire, there will be a bonfire. To top it off for the guests, there will be a piñata filled with twenties.
Damon should be out getting a rope for us so that Riley can have a rope swing for the pool, as well as cleaning it. He's also grabbing the glow lights and lanterns and all the food.
Riley is a genius. I hand out wedding invites to all that walk by outside the store who look friendly. They've all been more than compliant and have agreed to come once I described it.
Someone taps my shoulder. Turning around I see that it's the tall woman who works inside the store.
"Your daughter has requested you. " She says grinning widely. "She is beautiful, might I add. "
I smile.
She walks away and I follow her in.
Riley emerges from the room wearing a the most beautiful dress. She looks so stunning I'm sure that everyone there will be absolutely amazed. The dress hugs her curves and I'm convinced that my sister Isabel has birthed the most beautiful child. I should have made her model. She moves the hair from her face and pushes it over her shoulder. "Well how do I look? " She asks
"Stunning. " I say. Tears spring to my eyes. "Your the most beautiful bride. Your the most beautiful girl. Lets pay and go home, we have things to set up."
