|Anubis Von Hearth|
It's quite alarming that Arabella has summoned me to my place of birth...even more so that they've found two letters with a silver locket. I have been looking for my origins for so long, and now that it seems like the fog is clearing, I feel excessively frightened, even more than relieved.
"How are you feeling, princess?" Napoleon asked as he unfastened his seatbelt to get up.
"Nervous," I cleared my throat. "There could be a lot in those letters or nothing," my eyed turned to look out the window at the legion of SUVs waiting for us. "I love how they just appear without me having to organize it; it makes me smile."
My fiancé chuckled, offering me his right hand "Come on, princess, mother dearest must be waiting."
"If you don't mind, I would like to change into something else," I got up as my smile softened.
He nodded "Do you want me to stay here or should I go get in the car?"
"Wait for me outside," I stood on my toes to peck his right cheek. "It'll only take me a couple of minutes."
Once Napoleon left the plane's master bedroom, I opened the reach-in closet door to pull out the garment cover with my The Attico warm tan mini dress it, Alexander McQueen ivory asymmetrical leather trench coat, black denier tights and the Saint Laurent pearl platform sandals in smooth leather. Once I had the clothes on, I looked in my Bottega teak chain pouch for the velvet pouches with my jewelry: gold chunky chain link necklace with a lobster closure, gold hoops, the bracelet Arabella gave me the day we met, a gold ring with Napoleon's initial and another one with mine, and my engagement ring. Finally, I slipped on a pair of rimless brown sunglasses.
