You got down the latter and went to check on jack. "Jack?" You said as you knocked on his door. No answer you knocked one more time and finally the door swung open. "What" he asked blankly. "I got more supplies" you said smiling softly. "Ok..?" He said confused. "Just wanted to let you know since you haven't spoken to me in a few days..." you said as you struggled to keep your smile. "Well now I have. Bye" he said shutting his door with an attitude.
You started walking back to your room and saw Marcus locking the hatch. Once you saw him you walked faster to avoid conversation. You reached your room and laid down on your bed. Then Marcus walked in and set the bag down while looking at you. "Why would you do that?" He asked. He seemed upset, worried, and relieved all at the same time. "We were low." You answered while getting comfortable. "You could have died. I could have lost you! Jack could have lost you!" When he said this his voices raised higher by each sentence. "Listen I'm sorry but we were low. And jack wouldn't care. Do you see how he has been acting towards me?!" You said while standing up. You paused and sighed which helped you calm down. Meanwhile Marcus looked like he was tearing up but he had a mad expression on his face. He just stood there looking at you. "Look Im sorry I scared you but I'm still here. I knew you wouldn't let me go if I told you and I didn't want you leaving either. Mainly because Jack is pissed at me and you guys have a good relationship." You said calmly. Marcus looked down then back at you his mad expression was replaced with a guilty face "don't be sorry I get it. And your right if you didn't go we would have starved down here..." you looked at him and smiled wide at him. You were happy to hear him say that. "And I'm sorry about the jack thing i don't know what's going on with him but I think it's because he still doesn't know... but he can tell we are hiding something. But it always confuses me of why he is mad at you and not me..." you walked up to him and hugged him. "I don't know either but I will find out" you said.
You guys pulled from the hug and looked at each other. You were lost in his beautiful brown eyes. Just looking at them gave you butterflies. He was staring at you too. Then you realized what you were doing and snapped out of it. "S-sorry..." you said. "N-no I'm sorry!" Marcus replied. Then you guys looked at each other and started laughing. "We need to go to bed!" You said still laughing. "Yeah let's go you must be tired" he said as your laughing came to a stop.

*4 months later*
*You guys told Jack the next day and asked him why he was mad at you. He said "I'm mad that you out of all people would keep something from me and after that everything you did bothered me." You felt bad and decided to make it up to him by making sure to tell him everything. Everyone is on good terms and you started to realize your feeling for Marcus by month 3.*

"Alright it's my turn to go on a run" Marcus said while shaking you awake. You woke up confused as to why he was telling you. Then your face flushed with embarrassment as you realized your head was resting on his chest with your arm wrapped over him. You jolted up "I AM SO SORRY. I-I DIDNT EVEN REALIZE- " as you were saying this Marcus instantly cut you off "NO YOUR FINE! I REALLY DIDNT MIND- " his hand covered his mouth and he started blushing hard. Then you guys just started laughing. You looked like 2 big tomatoes because of how red your faces were. Then jack interrupted. "You guys gonna stop flirting already?" He said giving you guys the look. "JACK!" You guys said at the same time. Marcus got up face still red "i gotta go I'll be back" he said fast. After he left the room in a rush jack looked back at you. "Sooooo you and Marcus are you guys finally dating..?" He said while wiggling his eyebrows. "Jack stay out of my business and no." You said embarrassed. "And why are you even in here?" You asked changing the subject. "Cause you left the door open. I was making sure you guys didn't die or something." He said making up an excuse. "Mhm. It's fine" you smiled at jack but then Marcus came back. (That was fast) you thought to yourself. "Y/N JACK!" Marcus said after he locked the hatch. "You got scared "what?! Are you ok?" You asked while panicking. "Yes! The creatures they aren't there anymore!" Marcus said excitedly. "Wait really?? We can leave this place??" Jack said excitedly. "Yes!" Marcus responded while hugging jack. You were so happy but that happiness faded quickly as you realized Marcus has to go home...
