It's been about a month... me and regan have been hanging out and upgrading the house. She has been here for me the past month. She understands how scared I am that he might leave me. And I'm scared.
"Regan... I can't keep sitting here waiting. It never got me anywhere." I signed while standing up in front of her. "Marcus?" She signed and I nodded. "Ok we can go find him." Regan said with a big smile. We packed and headed towards the old bunker. That's where we last knew they were. Once we arrived we quietly crept in. Once we got in I locked the doors and looked around and heard someone open the door to my old bedroom. I looked over and saw a sleepy Marcus who didn't even see us yet. He walked over to the kitchen counter and poured himself some cereal. Me and regan stood there just watching him. I was so happy that he was safe. "Hey..." I said as tears filled my eyes. Marcus instantly looked up. He looked shocked and happy at the same time. "Y/n?" He said as he made his way over. "Regan!" He signed. He got over and pulled us in for a hug. I hugged back tightly a few tear drops left my eyes as I smiled into his neck. He pulled away and looked at us. "There in their old room." Marcus signed to regan. She happily rushed over to the door. "Look y/n... I'm sorry if I scared you. To be honest I was enjoying my time here." He said as he scratched the back of his neck looking at my face for any reaction. "It's ok... you just had me worried so I came by." I said smiling softly. We stared at each other for a few seconds as our faces inched closer and closer until I grabbed his neck softly amd kissed him. He instantly kissed back while resting his hands on my hips. He smiled into the kiss and you started giggling. We pulled away and started giggling again. "I missed you so much!" He said. "Me too! We upgraded the house!" I said excitedly. "Can't wait to see." He said smiling big. "When are you coming back?" I asked smile slowly fading. "Well. Now that your here maybe a few days we can head back. I want regan to spend time with them. She hasn't seen them in a long time..." he said. "She should stay as long as she wants and we can go in a couple days." I said. "Sounds good!" He said giving me a hug. Then someone tapped on my shoulder. I pulled away quickly to turn towards the person. It was regan. "They are asleep." She signed kinda disappointed. "They'll wake up soon" I signed back. "You can stay as long as you need. And when your ready come back to the house!" Marcus signed to regan with a smile. She smiled widely "thank you guys" she signed while hugging us. We both hugged back.
*1 hour later*
Me and Marcus were sitting in our old room on the bed playing Rock Paper Scissors and of course once again he chose rock. "Why do you always choose rock?" I giggled. "Because rock is the best one. Duh. It beats everything!" He replied with a smile. "False. Paper covers rock and if I also choose rock we have to go again!" I said while covering his fist (rock) with my hand (paper). "I win." I said with a smile. He chuckled and rolled his eyes. "I really thought you were gonna choose scissors this time..." he said. "Well I didn't. And I win." I said straightening my back in a cocky manor. "Well... now I win" he said forming his hands into a scissors shape and pretending to cut my hand (paper) and taking it off his fist (rock). "CHEATER! YOU CANT DO THAT" I said shocked. "Well. Seems like I can considering... ya know. Your hand is off." He said looking at me innocently. "You asshole." I said giggling. Marcus started giggling too then someone opened the door. I turned my head towards the door and saw lee in the doorway. My smile faded as the memories of our last interaction flooded my mind. "Um. Hey." He said looking at you and Marcus.
"I just wanted to talk to y/n..." lee said looking at me with a small smile. I looked at Marcus. He looked ready to defend me so I didn't have to talk so I put my hand on his and offered a smile. He returned the smile and looked back to his dad. I got off the bed and made my way to lee. We both walked to his room and I saw Evelyn on the bed with baby Abbott. He's big. A few years old now... I smiled at the sight. Evelyn drew her attention to me and lee. "Hello y/n!" She said with a smile which I returned kindly. "I just wanted to say... we just wanted to say... we are so sorry. We shouldn't have said any of that stuff to you or Marcus. And I would just like you to know that if you don't want kids I completely understand and from now on me and lee will stay out of your business. But just know we are always here for you!" She said standing up to give me a hug. I hugged her back and genuinely smiled at her words. "Thank you." I said in almost a whisper. I felt her smile I'm my neck then pull away. "I am so sorry y/n..." lee said. "We shouldn't have said any of that to you guys!" Lee finished and hugged me. I hugged back. "It's ok guys. It is all in the past!" I said still smiling. We pulled away and for the rest of the day I spent time with baby Abbott, regan, Marcus, Evelyn, and lee.
