MARCUS ABBOTT X READER // A QUIET PLACE 2

The beginning of the end.

*2 years later*
Well here we are. I'm an actual adult now. I think... I lose track of my age but I'm pretty sure I'm over 18 now or somewhere around there... anyways... here we are. Me and marcus hand in hand on our porch looking at all we have created. We basically live in a wall. After all that had happened me and Marcus build a 300 x 300 foot wall all around us. It took a long time but me, regan, lee, and Marcus all contributed we finished the wall about 2 months ago. Now... "how did we decorate the inside of our walls" may you ask. Well I'll tell you. We have 3 houses one in each corner. The corner that doesn't have one has a dog house. Yep we have ALOT of dogs. We take in the strays. We plan on having more sections built into the dog house when we find more animals. Anyways we also have a lot of farming things for food. I'm not rly into that right now...
"Hey y/n..." Marcus asks quietly holding my hand a little tighter. "Yeah?" I responded facing him. "Do you ever think of having kids now that the creatures are gone?" He said hesitantly. I paused for a second. I had been thinking about having a kid or two for a while actually but I was too scared to bring it up. "It's ok if you don't I was just wondering-" Marcus said before I cut him off. "I mean yeah. I actually have. I would love to have kids with you marcus." I smiled as I felt his hand relax. He smiled widely. Then his face lit up as he got down on one knee. He cleared his throat and took a marker. He drew a quick mustache and grabbed my hands. "Y/n... do you accept my offer to have a child... or two... whatever u want. Do you accept.?" He said trying to be confident. I giggled a little and said "yes :) yes I do :)" he smiled and hugged me. We went inside and started a puzzle together we have a collection.
