MARCUS ABBOTT X READER // A QUIET PLACE 2

Reunite?

It's been 2 months of you and Marcus living together. Alone. Every time you went to town you brought back a lot of supplies, like more than you did when you were with his family.
You both are very happy together and have even set up an extra room for regan if you ever find her. You miss her so much. You haven't seen her in a long time. It kinda broke your heart.
But you and Marcus have now completely sound proofed the house so you can talk as loud as you want.
Trust me you guys yelled to the top of your lungs test it out. Nothing happened. Anyways let's go to what happening right now.
You and Marcus continued walking around the new found store on the other side of the town.
You walked through the aisle and found a tv. Actually a lot of TVs. You had 2 wagons so every time you and Marcus went to the town so you could fill them up.
You put these really soft thick things on the wheels so it wouldnt make noise when dragged.
You took 3 TVs. One for the living room, one for regans room, and one for yours and Marcus's room. You had power thanks to solar panels that were already installed.
You started grabbing different electronic stuff for cooking, cleaning, and entertainment. When you and Marcus met at the front of the store he looked at you and silently chuckled. "I forgot we have solar panels." He signed smiling. His wagon contained of food and drinks.

*back at the house*
You'd set up the TVs and charged the new phones you got. You plugged in the toaster, and the microwave.
Everything was set up. Then you decided you wanted to get more supplies to upgrade your houses looks.
You went to the kitchen to get Marcus and he had just put away the last food item in the freezer. "Can we go back out pleassseeee!!!" You asked holding his arm smiling. He smiled back. "Fine only because you said please" he said giggling a little.
You both left and made your way back to the store. Once you got there you looked around. You got a whole bunch of blankets and pillows, you grabbed a lot of fancy led lights, big things of paint, paintbrushes and rollers, stickers, paintings for the walls, and you even grabbed 5 ten packs of canvases to make memories.
Marcus grabbed a few cameras and some footage and grabbed alot of packs of fairy lights.
Once you got back to the house you and Marcus went to rooms. You started with Reagan's room. You decided to paint it a light blue.
Then after that your washed the brushes and rollers and went you your and Marcus's room. You painted 3 of the walls a light grey and painted one wall white.
You wanted to use that as a giant paint canvas for you and Marcus to paint little pictures and whatnot on it.
Memories. You then painted the extra room. You painted it purple. You didn't know what that room was gonna be used for yet so you just chose purple.
Then for the living room, dining room, and kitchen you painted them blue. You finished everything finally and that night slept on the floor in the living room since you were too tired to grab one of the beds from the garage.
You just used some of the blankets and pillows. You and Marcus talked for a little about what you could use the extra room for and fell asleep snuggling.
The next day you brought everything back inside form the garage and reset everything up differently. You wanted the house to look nice.
You used the led lights in the living room, kitchen, and all the bedrooms. You put the fairy lights in the dining room, garage, and bathroom. You didn't paint the bathroom since it was already a nice color. You then went to the garage. The garage was clean and small.
Nothing was in there because it wasn't big enough for whoever lives there before to put any cars in there. You put the big thick blankets on the floor in the middle of the garage and set up the pillows you made a pretty big fort since you loved forts and put the fairy lights in there instead.
In the front of the fort you made a big opening so at night you could open the garage door and move the blanket door thing out of the way so you could watch the stars.
It was cute. You had a mini fridge in the garage so you put it in the fort and put some sodas and waters in there.
You got a cute basket and put chip bags and other packages snacks in there.
Everything was set up! You loved it. The next day you and Marcus went to the town to get more solar panels.
You got like 3 new ones and started making your way out when you saw someone. You and Marcus hid and you peaked out to see them coming closer and closer until they got close enough for you to see...
"Regan..?" You whispered.
