It's been a month since you guys made things official. You and Marcus are closer than ever and Jack had been good but he doesn't know how to act. You and regan are also really close you guys are best friends. You hang out as much as possible and you can tell it annoys Marcus but you don't want to say anything until it's obvious it's a problem.

You woke up and saw Marcus wasn't in bed. You got up and walked over to the window. The sun was almost to the middle of the sky. "Shit. I overslept" you whispered to yourself. You ran down the stairs to see why no one woke you up. You walked into the kitchen but your attention drew to the dining room where you saw Marcus and jack sitting at the table. Marcus looked mad. You walked over to them "what's going on? Why didn't you wake me up?" You asked super confused. "Because i could tell you couldn't sleep last night" Marcus said calmly. "How could you tell?" You asked. "You kept moving a lot in your sleep. Like a lot so I just let you sleep" he said while walking over to the kitchen. "Thanks and I'm sorry if I kept you up..." you said while hugging him. "Don't worry about it. It wasn't a big deal I slept in for a bit too." He said chuckling while placing his head on yours. You stood there hugging each other for about 30 seconds. Then you both pulled away smiling. Marcus walked back over to the table and sat down. You were about to go check on regan but remembered "oh Marcus... what's going on with jack?" You asked while walking back to the table.
"Oh... I don't know... Jack you should tell her!" Marcus said being super sarcastic yet enthusiastic at the same time. Jack looked down and Marcus got up walking away. Marcus looked really pissed. "Jack what's he talking about? What happened?" You asked Jack while approaching him. "I-I um..." he was super nervous but you just wanted him to trust you enough to be able to tell you. "Jack. Spit it out." You said calm. "Well I- when I woke up this morning and it was like maybe 2:00 am. And I-I went outside, walked into town, and found a bag of cocaine I think...and came back here with the bag" Your face changed quickly to a serious look. "And after that I um... rolled up a piece of paper and I sn-snorted it..." he said looking up at you. "How much..?" You asked quietly. "Um. Half the bag. But it only filled the bottom and it was in a sandwich baggie." He said calming down a bit. "Then I- " you cut him off "there's more?" You said shocked. "Yes. I um. I grabbed the baby from its crib. I was high out of my mind... and took her to the bathroom but thank god Marcus got up to use the bathroom. And I um ran the bath water with the baby in there... but Marcus knocked on the door and I opened it. He looked at me then said he just needed to use the bathroom and I walked passed him without saying a word. And he looked over at the tub and saw the baby... and I just..." Jack started crying. You could tell he didn't mean to but him getting high was his fault. Then Marcus came back in. He had tears in his eyes. "I can't trust him..." Marcus said. "My parents they also don't trust him..." he got quiet and looked at you. "So what? Just gonna kick him out?" You said kinda pissed. "No... my dad got a some locks this morning." Marcus said quietly. "So your gonna lock him up?" You said. "Only during the night time then we unlock it in the morning and keep an eye on him. just until my parents feel it's the right time. If not he could go and get high whenever he wants and we don't want to have another incident!" Marcus said trying his hardest to have you understand. "That's fair." You said looking at jack. Jacks head jolted up he looked pissed. "The one person I thought would talk them out of it. I would rather leave! your such assholes!" Jack said dramatically he went up some steps than stopped and looked at you "ya know... I liked it better when it was just me and you." and stormed up to his room. "WELL SINCE IM GONNA BE LOCKED UP I MIGHT AS WELL GET A HEADSTART!" He yelled from upstairs while shutting his door. Marcus came up from behind you and gave you a hug. It did make you feel better about the situation. But you still felt bad even though it was right.
