*Y/n pov*

We walked for a long time and took short breaks. We didn't reach anywhere yet and we were still in the woods. So that night we found a clearing. Marcus had to use the bathroom so he went out of sight while I set up our sleeping space. I didn't take a lot out of our bags because tomorrow we were gonna keep moving so. I took out 1 blanket to cover us, a can of food cause it's easier on the go, and a bottle of water. I layed the blanket on the ground then started collecting sticks. Then Marcus returned I looked at him and smiled he smiled back and began helping find sticks. After we got enough sticks we put them in a pile quietly being careful not to make noise. I grabbed the matches out of the bag. Theres some left... it should be fine. I started the fire and sat down on the blanket next to Marcus. We both faced each other. "Hopefully we find somewhere soon" Marcus signed with a worried expression. "Hey we will... don't worry about it. And if we don't we always find a way." I signed back with a reassuring smile. He smiled warmly. "I miss them..." Marcus signed still smiling. "For who they were before. They changed after everything. They acted different around you though. That's why I liked being with all of you at the same time or just away from them in general." Marcus confessed. "Im sorry... I had no idea... this whole situation is crazy though. I hope this whole thing they have going on goes away. I want to be with you marcus... I want to spend whatever is left of my life with you. I want to find regan and I want your parents to be who they used to be... even though these things may not happen..." You signed looking into his eyes. "Y/n... i love you so much and I know that we are gonna make it. And I hope for the same things. And with the whole situation we are in right now there is no one I'd rather go through this with. And I really think that this whole thing happened for a reason and I hope that we can figure that out together." Marcus signed sending you a warm smile. "Marcus i love you too! And I hope we figure it out..." You signed. You both were smiling then you both slowly leaned in. Your lips touching as his hand went to your cheek. You moved your hand to his neck. You both pulled away eyes still closed and rested your foreheads against each other.

*the next morning*
We woke up and packed up the stuff. We left heading in the same direction. After 1 hour of walking you saw a house. It looked abandoned like no one had been there in years. It was in pretty good condition as far as you could tell. You got marcus's attention and you both walked to the house. You and Marcus went inside checking everywhere to make sure it was safe. You went outside after you both knew everything was clear. You made an arrow with spray paint pointing in the direction of the town. You guys need supplies so you need to know where to go. You both started settling in and decided that tomorrow you guys are gonna get soundproof supplies.
