You quickly snapped you view to the door to see what had made the sound but saw nothing in the doorway... You crept as silent as you could be to the door and looked to your right then your left. That's when you saw it and covered your mouth with one hand. The creature broke through the second story wall it was walking around the room slowly. You quickly walked out of its view just in case it ran through the hallway and headed to the silent room.

*at the silent room*

You locked the hatch and walked down the stairs quickly. Then you locked the second hatch and climbed down the latter. "Hey y/n! Did you get the medicine-" jack asked before you cut him off and said "yes. But we can't leave this room for a while" "why?" Jack said confused. "We just can't right now. Stay in here while I speak with Marcus in the other room" you said in a hurry while dragging Marcus into the other room and closing the door. "What's going on? I need to get home soon my dad will kill-" "well you'll have to think about that later right now we need to stay put... there's a creature out there and it's not safe." You cut Marcus off. "Our where..? In the house?" Marcus asked eagerly. "Yes in the house" you said calmly. "But you need supplies-" Marcus said until something cut him off. A muffled screech. The silent room is making it so you can barely hear. "We need to go see what's going on." Marcus snapped. "No it's dangerous!" You argued back. "There is only one right?" He said ignoring what you said. "Marcus. I only saw one but the noise I heard could have been made by a lot more..." you said scared. "The screech?" Marcus asked confused. "No... when I was upstairs in the house I heard a loud crash noise... it came from the master bedroom. The creature broke wall and the whole thing was ripped off." You said quickly. "The whole wall..?" Marcus asked shocked. "Yes the entire wall! There is no way it was from only one..." you said. "How about this..." Marcus said as you looked at him waiting. "I go to the 1st entrance hatch and peep out to see if there is any more." You thought about it for a second. "Fine. But be quick." You said. Marcus smiled softly at you then hugged you tightly. "Thank you" he said. "For what?" You responded as you hugged him back. He pulled away with his hands still on your shoulders and said "for not killing me." He said enthusiastically while walking away. You looked at him with a smile as he opened the second hatch door and closed it.

*MARCUS POV*
I closed the second hatch then walked up the steps to the first hatch. I unlocked it and peered out focused. My direction quickly looked at the woods. I had a gut feeling that there was something off. As I kept looking I saw russling at the top of the trees and then 7 creature running towards the house. Then I closed the hatch so they couldn't come in and locked it. After the noise of them running over the hatch had stopped I opened it again and heard that same screech it was coming from the broken wall. I watched as creatures poured in. There were so many. Then I realized them screeching is their way of communicating.
I locked the hatch and headed for the second hatch.

*Y/N POV*
I heard the second hatch open and then Marcus locking the hatch on his way down. He looked scared and worried at the same time. "What's wrong?" You said eagerly. "There are so many. I-I couldn't even count them all." He quickly spoke. "They are communicating" when he said this your heart sank. It felt like you were falling down a deep hole and you finally hit the bottom. But you couldn't find a latter to escape. "Y/n?" Marcus said making you snap out of your thoughts. "We can't tell jack." You said looking at Marcus. "But shouldn't he know?" Marcus asked. "No he is already sick, tired, and hungry. I don't want to stress him out and make him feel like he is trapped here forever." You said feeling bad. "That's a good point..." Marcus responded.
