Well we did it. We left.
Sneaking out was hard but we managed. They can't force me to do anything and Marcus felt the same way. I'm so glad that me and Marcus are on the same page with this subject. I know there are other people out there that can help restart the human race... we can help later.
Me and marcus ARENT ready for that. But we do understand what they were saying. Intentions were in the right place but... ya know forcing doesn't help whatsoever. Anyways me and Marcus left and started walking the opposite way of town.
It had been hours of walking with short breaks.
I could tell Marcus was exhausted and to be honest so was i.
I tapped on his shoulder and he faced me instantly.
"Hey marcus can we sit a moment." I signed catching my breath.
"Yeah of course!" He signed smiling.
We sat down and looked at each other.
"So... about the whole starting a family thing." He signed looking at the ground. Uh oh.
What's he gonna say. "Do you want kids at all?" He signed. "Like in the future.." he finished while looking at me.
"Well I don't know to be honest..." you signed.
You've thought about having a family plenty of times but you don't think it's fair to raise a kid in this world.
You would feel selfish for bringing a child into this chaos... they didn't ask to be here.
They could hate you for having them.
"Y/n?" Marcus whispered while waving his hand in front of your face. He then started moving towards you.
He sat across from you and held your hands.
He stayed there for a moment just rubbing for hands then let go.
"If you don't want kids in the future I understand. It's your body and it's your choice.
I'm not one to tell you wether you need to have kids or not.
If you want 1 kid or 2 kids or however many. Than I want them. If you don't want to for whatever reason you don't,
than i don't want them. It's all up to you!" He signed smiling.
"I just want you to know I support your decision no matter what and whenever you feel your ready to have a kid if you want any than just let me know. And if I don't feel Im ready than I'll tell you that and I hope you respect my decision." Marcus signed smiling.
His words meant so much to you.
He was on the same page no matter what. He knew it was your body he would never want to put you in a position you don't want to be in.
And you of course have respect if he wasn't ready if you wanted kids in the future.
As you both should of course.
"Of course I respect your decision Marcus! And I'm so grateful that you respect my choice. I'm honestly not sure if I want kids or not.
And I love you so much! You make me so happy and before you and Jack I didn't have that very much." You signed smiling.
He smiled back and he leaned in to kiss you slowly making sure to have approval. He is being more cautious now to make sure I feel respected. I love it. But I mean he doesn't need to check for approval when he kisses me. But I'm not complaining... anyways.
After our brake we continued walking.
