1 month later.
Me and marcus have been trying for the past month to have a baby. Today he ran out and got mor pregnancy tests considering I threw up this morning and having been feeling good. But currently I'm sitting at home watching tv. It really is nice being able to be as loud as you want. Oh shit. I just realized we haven't talked to lee, Regan, or Evelyn for a long time. They don't even know we are trying to have a kid- oh fuck. No. No. No. no. "NO!" I yell out. I ran outside to our porch and looked in the direction of their bunker. But too be fair... they haven't visited us either... what if they are in trouble..? Shit.
I waited for Marcus to get back. (I'm impatient what can I say) as soon as he was in sight I yelled for him to get over here now. He started running. Good. When he made it to the porch he was out of breath. "What's wrong?" He asked nervously. "Come on." I said grabbing his hand and heading towards the bunker. He looked at me confused and went to say something but I spoke before he could get a word out. "We need to talk to your parents. We haven't seen them in forever..." I said looking at him. He looked like he seen a ghost. "Shit... I didn't even-" he started but went silent and looked disappointed. "What's wrong Marcus?" I asked. "I forgot..." he paused. "...about them..." I knew he felt shitty at this point and I hugged him. "You didn't forget them marcus. You've just been busy." I said holding him. He hugged me back burying his head in my neck. "And besides..." I said pulling away. "They haven't visited either." I said trying to comfort him. He smiled and said "true!" We started walking again until we got to the bunker. I noticed it has definitely been cleaned and painted. Why would they paint it? I looked at Argus and we shared a look before entering. When we got down their I opened the door slowly. The house is definitely still in use. Same furniture. Fresh fruit in the bowl on the counter. I walked inside and Marcus stood next to me. "Hello?" I asked. Suddenly a door swung open and I saw lee with a gun. I raised my hand in shock and said "it's just us!" He lowered the gun and put the safety on. He set it down and ran up to us hugging Marcus and me. Then Evelyn came out holding baby Abbott. He obviously isn't a baby anymore but the point is he's like 5 years old now. Maybe 6?7? Idk. Lee pulled away and Evelyn and baby Abbott approached us cheerfully. "Marcus! Y/n!" Baby Abbott said throwing his hands up and laughing. Evelyn approached me handing me baby Abbott. I grabbed him from Evelyn's arms and he hugged me instantly. "I miss you y/n." He said. I hugged him back and said "I missed you too..." I opened my eyes to see Marcus and Evelyn and lee in a group hug. Then lee broke free of the hug and pulled some string. Next thing we knew regan swung the door open and signed "again" aggressively. Lee laughed and signed something back but I couldn't see. I was too focused on regan. She then looked over and saw me and Marcus. She looks so different... her hair is longer, she got taller, she has tattoos..? I smiled at her clearly excited that I have my bestfriend again. She came up to me slowly and hugged me excitedly. She pulled away and signed "I've missed you!" Excitedly. I signed back "I missed you too!" And smiled. I put baby Abbott down and hugged Evelyn. Baby Abbott was now in Marcus's arms. I pulled away and signed to regan. "Can I use the bathroom?" She nodded and les me to the bathroom. I knew where it was but she was excited to have me here. Before she led me I grabbed the pregnancy test out of Marcus's pocket. I hid it the whole way to the bathroom. Once I got there I smiled at regan and she returned the smile. Before I closed the door.
I waited a minute going back and forth. I opened the door and said "Marcus! Come here" which I couldn't see his parents but they were probably thinking this is suspicious. Marcus came in the bathroom and I spoke. "The test!" I whisper yelled. "I took it." He looked excited and looked around for the test. Once he saw it he grabbed my hand and walked over. He looked at the test and smiled. I saw a tear escape his eye. "Pregnant." He read. I felt a wave of excitement travel my body and we hugged each other instantly. We kept giving small kisses excitedly. Before someone opened the door.
