I slowly woke up. I opened my eyes and saw a white ceiling. That was a crazy dream. I sat up taking in my surroundings. I was... home..? My room. The one me and Marcus share. I'm at my house? How did I get here. I was just with my mom and I fell asleep... I had a crazy dream and now I'm here? I got off my bed and made my way to the door. But before I could open it marcus came in. I definitly startled him... "jeez y/n- WAIT Y/N?!" Marcus suddenly got excited and hugged me. It took me a second but I hugged him back confused. Why is he so happy..? I felt drops of tears hit my back and pulled away to question him. "Marcus..? What's wrong? Why are we home?" I asked. His expression slowly fell and he looked anywhere but my eyes. "Y/n, you've been asleep for about 3 months..." a wave of shock overcame my body  " WHAT."
I said looking Marcus dead in the eyes. "After your mom and dad died a sign fell off the building that the creature banged into and it knocked you out. After that I brought you home and continued life as best as I could. I had my family come up and visit and we all got new phones to contact each other. Oh and happy late birthday!" He explained. "M-my birthday passed?" I asked confused. Then his words really sunk in as I realized that wasn't a dream. "M-my mom really died..? I witnessed her die." I felt numb. Wtf. Marcus looked at me and all he could do was hug me when he saw my saddened expression. My moms actually dead. "You can be as loud as you want wherever you want..." Marcus said

*4 weeks later*
Me and Marcus are currently staying in the town. Currently we are running down the street blaring music. What!? It's fun. I'm so happy that their plan worked. And I'm even more glad I didn't witness it. But I feel horrible I wish I was there for Marcus when all that was happening. But I'm so proud of him. Anyways back to the music. "Hey y/n!!" Marcus shouts from next to me. "Hey Marcus!!" I yell back and continue jumping around the street. "Remember when we couldn't do this!!" He asks. "Yeah that was last months news just enjoy it!!" I yelled. Suddenly he hugged me from behind and kissed my cheek then lay go and started skipping down the street. I ran after him and jumped on his back. He almost fell from the sudden impact. He started spinning in circles while I yelled the lyrics of the song. Soon he started yelling them with me I got off his back as we continued yelling the lyrics and started pretending we were in a music video. "Y/n!" Marcus yelled with a giggle. "YES?!" I yelled back. He turned down the music with a big smile on his face. "We should start a farm." He said happily. "Like to grow our own food! I found a shit load of seeds in the store. I was thinking we have so much land surrounding our house I could start farming. It would keep me more occupied and we could have fresh food!" He finished. I smiled "That's a perfect idea!" I said.
He smiled even bigger as we continued listening to music on our way home.
