He knew Neelum was not happy with what he had said about waiting to start a family.
He knew he wasn't ready to have children, and he wanted to be prepared for it whenever that happened , he also wanted to make sure his sisters responsibilities were fullfilled at the same time.
She hadn't spoken much to him since they entered the house, she had talked to his sisters and his mothers with a smile on her face , but she had barely made eye-contact with him.
Once they were in their room she busied herself in getting ready for bed.
So he tried a new technique,
"Meri blue t shirt kaha hai?" He asked , and she turned to him still avoiding eyecontact,
"Mein dekh kar batati hun" she said ,
And went to the closet to check ,
He took her hand in his ,
"Neelum" he said softly pulling her towards him,
"Naraaz ho?" He asked , and she shook her head,
"Nahi naraaz nahi hun" she said "bus mujhe laga we would be on the same page about it this , halki si disappointed hun" she told him a pout on her lips ,
He took her chin between his fore finger and thumb andgrazed her bottom lip softly,
"Neelum, there's nothing wrong in waiting sweetheart" he said to her , and she looked up ,
"I know that," she said ,
"Buss pata nahi kyun mein iss tarha se behave kar rahi hun" she said and he brushed his lips against hers a kiss that she returned .
She felt a flutter in her belly, as he pressed a kiss to herneck pulling her to his chest ,
"Bhabi ko Azan k saath dekh kar aur Arzoo ka khiyal rakhti hun tou I feel it in my bones that I want a child" she told him and he pressed a kiss to her head.
"Par aap nahi chahytay abhi and i can accept that for now," she said to him and he pressed a kiss to her temple.
"I just need to be more free you know ?" He said , and she nodded .
"I understand" she said as she moved away and headed to her side of the bed. And he crossed his arms over his chest,
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked her and she nodded ,
"Nahi hoti tou I would tell you" she said as she laid down
He laid down next to her ,
And caressed the side of her face
"Neelum,"His thumb brushed her lip,
He was looking at her so intensely that she felt heat pool in her belly.
"Sometimes I think I'm extremely lucky that you've become a part of my life" he said to her and she pressed a kiss to hand and then moved forward to press a kiss to his lips ,
"Mujhe bhi yeh hee lagta hai k aap bohaut lucky hain" she teased .
But this time he laughed as he brought her closer to him.

1 Month later....
"Ibrahim ghar aaya abhi tak Neelum "
Her mother in law asked as she gave her a glass of milk ,
"Nahi ammi abhi tak tou nahi aaye , keh rahay thay k koi zaroori presentation ka kaam hai unhe" Neelum told her as she waited for her to drink her glass of milk.
"Bachara mera beta bohaut kaam karta hai" her mother in law said as she stared at the wall clock,
"Aunty aap sou jayein, mein jaagi hui hun naa un ka intezar karlungi" she assured her mother in law , Whi in turn nodded her head,
The last month Ibrahim had been so busy he would leave early in the morning and comeback very late at night.
He would be so tired that he would normally sleep without dinner even.
While Neelum understood that he was an extremely ambitious and driven person she had started to feel lonely , she missed their conversations and their banter , unfortunately it had been reduced to nothing in the past month.
