As promised Ibrahim dropped her off at her parents house with the promise of picking her up when he returns.
Neelum hadn't expected to burst into tears the moment she hugged her mother .
"Aray meri jaan" her mother consoled ,
"Kya hogya hai bachay" she said as she hugged her youngest to her chest.
Neelum sniffled , and shook her head,
"Aap mujhe yaad aarahi thi" she mumbled,
Her mother raised an eyebrow ,
"Maa hun tumhari , jhoot bolo gi tou pakri jao gi" she said ,
"Aao mere pass betho" she said ,
"Sakina!" She called their house help,
"Neelum k liye juice bana kar lao, hum bahar garden mein bethay hain" she said ,
Once they sat down , Neelum told her mother everything, crying through most of it.
Her mother listened to her silently and finally spoke ,
"Beta , jo kuch Salma ne kaha bohaut ghalat tha, par kamazkum Ibrahim ne tou tumhe defend kiya na, aur tum Rukhsar ko zyada attention naa dou, woh khud struggle kar rahi hai." Her mother said , and Neelum looked at her in shock,
"Ammi mere liye woh itnay problems kyun create karti hai phir " she moaned as she wiped away her tears.
"Pata nahi bachay , Allah uss ko bhi hidayat dein" her mother said.
"Khair yeh sab chorein , aur batain sab theek hain naa?" She asked ,
Her mother nodded ,
"Baki tou theek hai , mujhe Qasim ki fikar hai ajj kal" she said ,
Neelum frowned ,
"Bhai ko kya hua hai?" She asked ,
Her mother shrugged ,
"Pata nahi par woh pareshan hai kisi baat ko lekar" she said .
Neelum nodded ,
"Last time he said that it was work related stress ammi" she said .
"I hope so , meri jaan" she said.

Ibrahim
Ibrahim came to pick her up at 7 ,
Her mother invited him to stay for dinner , having had excused from family dinners twice , he didn't excuse this one.
It was just her parents and them tonight, since it was a weekday.
"Ajj saaray hee masroof hain" her mother said shaking her head ,
Her father turned to Ibrahim,
"Beta , agar tumharay pass waqt ho tou mein tumhe eik contract dekhana chah raha tha," he said , and Ibrahim nodded.
"Gee uncle , koi masla nahi dekhain" he said ,
"Khanay k baad please Saaqib" her mother interjected.
Neelum smiled , she would get spend more time with her parents.
After dinner her father and Ibrahim discussed work while she and her mother talked .
It was almost 10 by the time Ibrahim was done going through most of the paperwork.
"Beta , why don't you take these home and go through them in detail." Her father said giving him the file.
"I really need help with this contract, I'm even willing to pay you" he said , and Ibrahim shook his head,
"Uncle aap kaisi baat kar rahay hain, mein bhi tou aap ka beta hun." He said placing his hand on his chest.
"Aap fikar naa karein , I'll give these a look and will let discuss with you as soom as possible." He said .
Her father smiled, patting him on the back ,
"Thanks beta" he said .

They arrive home at ten thirty.
Her mother in law was waiting for them.
