The next morning Ibrahim didn't say anything , he headed to the masjid without waking Neelum up.
When he returned , his wife was sitting in the kitchen , his coffee in her hands.
He sat down next to her and she pushed his coffee towards him, which he took, taking a sip of the warm liquid .
"Aap theek hain?" She asked ,
He nodded ,
"Naki koi nahi jagga?" He asked , and she shook her head,
"Aunty namaz parhne gayi hai , Ali bhai Rukhsar k pass hain, Aeima aur Humna mein se koi nahi jagga" she told him,
He didn't say anything,
"Ibrahim,I know you're hurting" she said to him softly,
"I'm fine" he denied not wanting to have this conversation.
"I still think aap ka faisla ghalat hai" she said , and he shook his head,
"Mujhe yehee sahi lagraha hai , it makes sense." He said to her rubbing his face with hands.
"Only if you don't consider all the feelings involved." She said to him,
"Neelum," he cut her off,
"Kabhi kabhar rational ho kar bhi souchna hota hai," he said to her .
She pursed her lips but decided not to push him further.
"Woh bachi hai , meri hee ghalati hai k meine uss ka nikkah kara diya" he said shaking his head.
Neelum was going to say something but Saliha aunty entered the kitchen ,
"Ibrahim!" She said worry on her face ,
He turned to her ,
"Kya hua hai?" He asked ,
"Aeima raat se ghar nahi hai!" She said on the verge of tears , he frowned
"Kiya matlab raat ko tou meri uss se baat hui thi" he said turning to her,
"Mujhe Humna ne bataya hai abhi abhi" she said ,
"Ya Allah ! " she said as she sat down .
Ibrahim turned to Neelum,
"Daniyal ko phone karo" he said ,
"Uss se poucho"
Neelum nodded as she dialed Daniyal's number .
"Woh utha nahi raha" she mumbled and Ibrahim slammed his fist on the table closing his eyes.
"Ussay text karo" he said ,
And she did.
"Woh itna bara qadam kaisay utha sakti hai!" Saliha aunty cried ,
"Uss ne yeh nahi soucha k hum dunya ko kya munh dekhain gay." She said, as she cried .
"Aunty mein bhai ko call karti houn, kamazkam dono ka nikkah hua wa hai" she said trying to console her mother in law.
Her mother in law glared at her ,
"Tum tou rehne dou yeh sab tumhari wajha se hua hai" she snapped ,
"Ammi" Ibrahim groaned ,
"Aap Neelum ko iss sab k liye nahi blame kar sakti, I won't have it." He said firmly.
"Neelum tum upar jao" he said , and Neelum didn't need to be told twice.

She kept on trying Daniyal's number .
Finally he picked up,
"Hello?" He said ,
"Dani tum kaha ho? Aeima tumharay saath hai?" She asked as she placed her hand on her chest,
"Haan , mere saath hai Aeima" he said after a few minutes .
"Daniyal ," she groaned ,
"Tum dono ho kaha ?" She asked ,
"Meine raat eik hotel mein kamra book kiya tha ,"
"Ya Allah!" Neelum said , the weight of his stupid decisions felt like a ton of bricks on her shoulders.
