Speak
“I miss you, Regan.”
I groaned when my throat started to hurt because of how much I released. Did I eat and drink a lot earlier for me to vomit like this?
Reality stormed back in my mind when I suddenly felt someone pulling me. I blinked twice but he didn’t vanish.
He’s back. Treyton’s back.
Some drivers were scolding us but my stare remained on Treyton until the stain on his shirt and pants grabbed my attention away. I cursed under my breath. Nasukahan ko ba siya?
Gago?
“Okay ka na? O may natitira pa?” I rolled my eyes at his sarcastic remark but before I could answer back, the putrid smell of puke entered my nose first. My cheeks were on fire and my entire existence was slowly but painfully crumbling because of shame.
“Stay here.” For a person who just got vomited on, he looked calm, impressed and even entertained. I went to the counter to order the most expensive latte the cafe had before going back to the streets.
I wiped the bile that remained on my lips after I tasted it again. Nakakainis at nakakapikon talaga! Why did that really have to happen?
“Good evening, sir...”
I calmed myself before awkwardly smiling at the woman to lessen the tension. But it was the only shop in this area that sells men’s clothes.
“Ano pong size ang hinahanap niyo, sir?” the saleslady inquired while I was looking through a bunch of polo shirts.
“Large to extra large po,” sagot ko. She led me to a place where there were more shirts but I sighed when I couldn’t find something cheap. I still have to buy Treyton pants because his got it worse when I threw up on him.
“We have items on sale rin, sir,” the saleslady informed me. Napangisi na lang ako pagkatapos. So far, it was the best thing I ever heard this night.
It took me only a few minutes to find a nice pair out of a large pile. I sighed when I saw myself in the mirror again. I look tired and old because of the recent events.
