Chapter Six: Never Trust a Twin Enchantment- 1995
"Hurry! Mum's going ballistic downstairs, says we're gonna be late!" Ginny wakes me and Hermione rather rudely. I groan and turn towards Hermione, hiding my face in her chest. "I'm not kidding, she's a wild woman." Ginny says again.
"Come on, Love. We wouldn't want to miss the train." Hermione says tiredly, slowly lifting both of us up.
I have a scowl on my face as I'm forced to get up so early. I end up sitting up in the bed for a solid five minutes, completely zoned out as the two girls move around the room, gathering everything they need.
"Cam, come on, it's time." Hermione smiles lightly, approaching me. Her words do nothing as I continue to stare ahead with a blank expression. She sighs before leaning down and kisses me. This instantly snaps me out of my zone-out. I try to kiss back but she alreayd pulls away with a smirk. "I knew that would work." She says before turning and leaving.
"That little..." I mutter as I hear Ginny snicker. I finally get up and quickly change and brush my teeth.
Ginny and I begin walking down the stairs with our trunks when I hear Fred and George mutter enchantment spells from the floor above. I look up in confusion and turn my head the other way, pausing on the steps. My eyes widen as I see two large trunks come flying down at us.
"Gin-" my warning gets cut off as both Ginny and I go hurdling down two flights of stairs with the trunks.
Ginny and I get tangled in each other as our knees and arms bang against the wooden steps. My bones dig into corners and edges. Ginny and I both let out scared screams. My vision is blinded by my long hair as well as Ginny's.
When we land with a final thud at the bottom of the steps, we both lay there and groan, unable to move. One of the heavy trunks has trapped my leg as Ginny's torso is across my own.
"FRED! GEORGE!" Mrs. Weasley screeches.
"Oh my God! Are you two alright?" Hermione says frantically, pushing the trunk off my leg.
"YOU TWO GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!"
"Mione... my body is broken." I whine.
"I second that." Ginny's muffled voice says as her face is pressed against the floor.
"Oh no..." I hear Harry's voice say from somewhere.
"Mum's gonna kill-" Ron begins.
"Ginny! Camila! We didn't mean to!" George says rushed.
Ron helps Ginny off of me and Harry lifts me up. I try walking but feel pains shoot up from my knees. I clutch onto the boy before I fall down.
"IVE WARNED YOU! NOT TO USE MAGIC FOR EVERYTHING! YOU TWO ARENT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE ENCHANTING OBJECTS WITHOUT HURTING SOMEONE OR BREAKING SOMETHING! YOU COULD HAVE SERIOUSLY INJURED YOUR SISTER AND CAMILA! IF I WASNT SO FED UP WITH YOU TWO I WOULD BE FORCING YOU TO STAY HERE!" Mrs. Weasley screams in there faces.
I see Hermione scowling at Fred and George before silently moving Harry off of me to wrap her own arms around my waist. I hold onto her shoulders and give her a weak smile. "I'm gonna be hella sore tomorrow." I tell her. Hermiones scowl breaks from the twins and looks at me, changing her face to one of concern.
"Ron, I'm fine." I here Ginny say as she steps out of his hold. "You and you!" Ginny points her finger at Fred and George. "I swear if one more of your stupid attempts of magic ends in me at the receiving end again, I'll send the bat bogey hex without hesitation!" I smirk at my firey friend as the twins look at her in fear.
