A few days after the battle between the Narnians and the White Witch, the entire evil in the land was over. Narnia has finally been restored gained peace all thanks to the five friends and the Narnian Princess. At sunset, the six friends rode their horses out of Aslan's camp to Cair Paravel, the beautiful finest castle in all of Narnia. Peter and Dawn rode on their new white horses, Esther was on her pet white horse named Snowflake. Edmund rode on his horse Philip and Lucy rode on a pony. Once they arrived in the castle with Aslan, they were then drifted into their new chambers. Dawn's new chamber was between Peter and Esther's chambers. And Edmund's new chamber was between to his brother's and girlfriend's. And Susan's chamber was next to Lucy's chamber.
Dawn loved her new chamber. It reminded a little bit of her bedroom back home in Finchley but this chamber was more bigger than her own room. Much royal like. Her chamber had a wardrobe full of various dresses and clothes, a shelf filled with books and a canopy bed covered in silky sheets, pillows and blankets which she could snuggle in at night. Dawn noticed a pair of doors on the center of the wall between her bed and wardrobe, which were closed together, and she wondered what she could see. When she opened the doors with both hands, she surprisingly found herself standing in the balcony with a view of the Eastern Sea and couldn't believe her eyes. She never had a balcony in her own bedroom and she couldn't help but breathe a fresh air and feel the oceanic vibes around her. Dawn watched in awe as she saw mermaids swimming and doing somersaults in the distance. And she sometimes wished she could swim like them.
Because it was such a long day, Dawn thought it was the right time to take a bath to get herself freshen up. She undressed, took a warm bath, dried herself up and put her undergarments. At first she thought they weren't comfortable because of the way they looked, but they really were! She then put on her long white nightgown, hopped into her canopy bed and went into a sweet sleep, believing that tomorrow will be a big day for her friends and all of Narnia.
The next day, The six friends were getting prepared to becoming new kings and queens of Narnia during this time of golden age. And they couldn't be more happier and proud of themselves and each other. Dawn was awaken by knock on her chamber door. She yawned, stretched her arms and opened the door. And outside of her chamber waiting, was a Nymph and a Dryad carrying her long lilac dress and a long forest green cape.
"Hello." Dawn said, running her eyes from sleeping. "May I help you?"
"Hello, Your Majesty." The Dryad smiled. "Forgive us for bothering your sleep. We came to help you get ready for your coronation."
"Oh, yes." Dawn smiled. She looked at the dress and cape they brought and admired it. The lilac dress was made of velvet with long flowy satin sleeves with silver trimmings around it. And the forest green cape was also made of velvet with some gold patterns on it. "You do not need to apologize for it at all. I had a bath last night so...all I need is to dress up for it."
"Yes, milady." The Dryad nodded, handing over her dress and cape. "You may get dressed in there while we wait here." Dawn nodded with a smile as she politely took them from the two female creatures and headed back to her bathroom. She carefully slipped on a lilac dress and it hugged her waist very well. She came out of the bathroom with a cape in her arm and gave a little twirl in her new dress.
"Wow..." the Nymph said in awe. "You look absolutely majestic, Your Majesty." Dawn blushed a little. "Thank you." She smiled. "And please, you can just call me Dawn. I'm not very into formalities." The Nymph and the Dryad nodded in agreement. "Alright, Dawn." The Nymph smiled. "My name is Eliana and this is Nadia."
"Eliana and Nadia. Beautiful names." Dawn smiled. "Thank you for all the help, Eliana and Nadia. I couldn't have done without you both."
"You're very welcome, Your Majesty—I mean, Dawn." Eliana bowed. Dawn giggled and nodded. "But we have a few more left to get you prepared." Dawn nodded. "Oh, alright." Eliana and Nadia helped Dawn tighten the lacing behind her dress and put a cape over her shoulders. Then they accompanied her to the mirror set, where they sat her down.
Her hair was braided in a rosebud braid. This was the first time she ever had her hair done like that. Then Dawn had a little makeover with powdered face and a pinkish tint on her lips. She hardly recognized herself.
