Chapter 3 - What a night

Spencer and i get into the car and we pull out of the BAU. The car ride was fairly quick, given that the bar was just down the street. Spence pulls into a parking spot just infront of the bar. I look at my watch and its 2:32 a.m. He turn off the ignition and looks over at me.

Spencer stares at you for a while. "What is it?" I ask smiling back at him. "Nothing, just thinking" he says in a soft tone. "Of..?" You say pressure the question and while raising your eyebrow. He chuckles, then looks down and smiles while shaking his head, then back to you.

"We should head in, don't want to keep the team waiting any longer, now do we?" Spencer say smirking at you. You try your best not smile so you press your lip together. "No, we don't." You say biting your lip without realizing it and Spencer smiles.

Spencer removes his key from the ignition and places it into his pocket while opening his door. He walks around the front of the car and opens your door. "Ready..." He says holding his hand out in front of you. You place your hand into his and smile, stepping out of the car as Spencer closes the door and places his hand on your lower back and you guy walk into the bar.

As you enter the bar, you scan the room looking for the team. You spot an excited Penelope stand up from her seat with the hugest smile on her face, waving you and Spencer over. As you and Spencer approach the booth, you feel Spencer remove his hand from your back.

"Finally, i was beginning to think you lovers weren't going to show up." Derek say smirking at you and Reid. "Well, who can say no to free drinks" you say smiling at the team. "Come sit," Emily says patting the empty seat next to her. You walk over and sit. Derek gesture Spencer to sit next to him and he does. Spence is sitting straight across from you.

"So, how does it feel..?" JJ says handing you a drink. "How does what feel..?" You say getting the drink from her hand and taking a sip.  Derek grabs a drink from the center of the table and gives it to Spencer. "Well, how does it feel to be officially part of the team?" Emily says with smile. "Yeah.." Penelope say with an over excite tone in her voice, letting you know she had enough to drink.

You let out a heavy breathe,"It's great, i couldn't be any happier." You say looking over at Reid, who gives you a warm smile. "Is that because of Pretty boy here?" Derek says placing his hand on Spencer's shoulder.

Spencer rolls his eyes and takes a big gulp of his drink. Spencer makes a face and processes to swallows the drink, letting out a cough moments after. The whole team cheers him on and claps as you tag along. "WOAH relax tiger, vodka isn't something you wanna miss with." Rossi says smiling at him. Reid looks at Rossi confused "I though it was water!" Spencer says and coughs again, the team laughs again. You smile at Reid and he returned the favor.

"Next rounds on me!" Rossi says waving the the waiter over for another round. We all grab another drink, and Reid just picks his up, Rossi raises his glass and we all follow him, even Spencer. "To the most wonderful kid i know, thank you for being yourself, i am so happy that you found your way into our family, and for all the moments we've shared together and for many more to come, To y/n" Rossi say. We all click our glasses together, "to y/n" the team says in sync. We all chug our drinks as Spencer just takes another sip of his.

"Woo.." Emily screams, as other groans are passes around the table from the team. "I think this calls for a dance, anyone?" Emily says getting up. "Count us in." Penelope say grabbing Derek's hand and walking over to her. "Me too.." JJ says getting up and walking toward them. "Y/n, Reid?" Emily say look at us.

I stand up and look at Spencer. He shakes his head 'no'. "Oh come on, please..." You say holding the 'please' for a while and extending your arm out, your hand out infront of him and giving Reid a pleading look. Reid sighs. You can hear Rossi from beside him say "Come on kid, don't leave the girl hanging." I look from Rossi back to Spencer and smile. "If you don't dance with her, then another guy will." Derek says reassuring him. Spencer looks away from Derek and back to me.
