"𝔸nd then, the lady disappeared. just like that." taehyung finished telling the events of the morning, the other three boys parting their mouths in shock.

"so the old lady does have something to do with jungkook's death." yoongi hummed, but corrected himself when jungkook frowned at him. "i mean, his ghost transformation. we don't know if he's dead yet."

"i don't feel dead, i swear." he sighed, dismissing his death topic for now and focusing on the woman. "she told me to have fun and called me by my surname, but i've never seen that lady before."

"maybe your family knows her? you can ask your parents." jimin suggested, hoseok nodding in agreement and patting his back for coming up with such a good idea.

"yeah, but what about jungkook not being visible to everyone? that's like, the weirdest part." yoongi talked once again, really invested in this whole situation. he loved supernatural and thriller stuff. "why can we see him?"

"i think the warrens could solve this out pretty easily." hoseok said, jungkook laughing at that. the young boy was floating around the room while the other four were sitting on the couch, the two boys calling the older ones immediately once they returned home. when he saw yoongi's pout, he cooed and shook his head. "i'm just kidding baby, you're better than the warrens! you'll get this solved in no time."

"you're our cute detective." jimin cooed too, both of them pinching yoongi's cheeks, making him blush slightly and shake his head with a smile.

"these bitches keep forgetting i'm single." taehyung rolled his eyes, jungkook once again laughing and floating in his direction.

"do you want me to pinch your cheeks?"

"you can't, but thank you for the offer."

"talking about single people..." jimin interrupted their little moment, the two boys looking at him with an eyebrow raised. "what's up with jaesung and you?"

"jaesung?" taehyung snorted, hoseok gasping and nodding eagerly.

"oh my god, i forgot about him! he was nice when we met him, did you give him a chance?"

"a chance? he's just my co-worker." taehyung shook his head, just the thought of dating that boy making him laugh. "just because he likes me doesn't mean i like him back."

"you're single because you want to, so let us show our love in peace." yoongi deadpanned, proceeding to give a quick peck on his boyfriends' lips, who cooed once at the oldest for being so adorable and showered him in kisses.

"i'm gonna throw up." taehyung breathed out, jungkook just laughing at the whole situation and floating around.

the young boys talked about how weird the lady was and how could they discover why jungkook was seen by only them, until they decided it was time to go home.

their home. taehyung's chance to live with his best friend were now completely gone, since the three of them moved in together for good.

after saying their goodbyes, jungkook floated around taehyung, who was walking straight to the kitchen to search for a snack. "so, who's jaesung?"

"he's a guy that works with me at the restaurant. he confessed multiple times that he was into me, so my friends want me to give him a chance." he shrugged, deciding that a sandwich will be the perfect snack. "i don't really like him as anything more than friends, but he's nice."

jungkook hummed, even though he was confused on the inside. why does he feel relieved? "well, it's only your decision if you want yo give him a chance or not at the end of the day."

"yeah, i know... what about your love life? did you have a love interest before all of this happened?" taehyung asked, looking at jungkook for a second —who was upside down with his feet in the ceiling— before going back to making his sandwich.

"not really. i was more into doing my own stuff, you know? i wasn't really looking for a lover." he shrugged, watching how taehyung finished his sandwich and following him to the dining room.

"yeah, i get you. and what are you into?"

"i don't know, anyone that loves me back." he chuckled, sitting on the table in front of taehyung and watching him eat. in the few days that the ghost was living at his house, he already got used to the staring. "what about you?"

"i only like boys." he said, jungkook nodding. "i tried being straight in high school, but i just couldn't. no hate intended though, girls are pretty and all, just not my type."

"you're too much of a bottom to be straight anyways." jungkook said, laughing when taehyung frowned at his words. "i'm sorry, i'm just telling the truth!"

"how are you so sure that i'm a bottom? you've only known me for like, a week!"

"it's just the energy you radiate, okay? it screams bottom." he explained, taehyung scoffing and shaking his head incredulously. "come on, am i wrong?"

"no, but that was so rude."

taehyung finished his sandwich while listening to jungkook talk about the time he ended up with a cheeto stuck on his ear, the silver haired boy thinking it was a story from his childhood but laughing his ass off when the younger said oh no, it happened like five months ago.

"do you know what's on the basement?" jungkook asked, taehyung walking up the stairs to brush his teeth. the older shook his head, jungkook gasping slightly in disappointment. "you bought a house without even seeing all of the rooms? that's so irresponsible of you."

"i don't have the balls to go down there alone." he said simply, proceeding to brush his teeth when he reached the bathroom. jungkook hummed, floating to the shower to look at taehyung's hygiene products like it was the most interesting thing in the world.

"well, i don't have the balls either, so-"

"what? but you're the ghost, you're supposed to be the one down there scaring people."

"i'm a different type of ghost, okay? i have class. as i was saying, we can go to the basement together to see what's there!" he proposed, watching how taehyung rinsed his mouth through the mirror. "what do you think?"

"sure, going to the basement with a ghost sounds like my type of fun."

so they planned going to the basement the next morning —because if they went now, the ghosts that probably lived there would most likely eat them alive (at least eat taehyung)—. seriously, what's the worst that can happen?
