"𝔸re you okay? you look like you're in a rush." jungkook asked, watching how taehyung entered the house quickly and threw his keys and phone to the couch, walking upstairs while unbuttoning his red uniform shirt."jaesung it's coming in an hour." he said, entering his room while removing his shirt and unbuttoning his pants. jungkook floated after him, watching him getting undressed with his eyebrows raised.
"coming here? why?" he asked, even though he already knew the answer. of course he was coming here, it was part of his and yoongi's plan.
"yoongi told me to ask him if he likes vintage stuff to see if he wanted to visit my house, and he said yes. so i was kind of forced to invite him." he explained, too busy in taking off his pants and walking to the bathroom to notice the boy staring at him with a mischievous smirk.
"oh, i see." he hummed, the older boy nodding and closing the bathroom's door. when the younger heard the shower faucet being opened, he floated his way to taehyung's phone, which conveniently didn't have a password because he lived alone. he searched for yoongi's contact and called him, the boy answering after one tone with a simple hello? "hey, yoongi-hyung. the jaemin guy or whatever his name was it's coming." he whispered, yoongi laughing mischievously —with the evil laugh he's been practicing for days now—.
"great! well, you know what to do next. good luck." he whispered back, jungkook thanking him and hanging up, leaving the phone right where he found it. he then started searching for stuff that wouldn't break if he dropped them, such as wooden spoons and cereal boxes, placing them on the table, the counter, the kitchen and the living room.
you officially fucking lost your mind, jungkook.
after minutes of placing everything perfectly, he nodded, satisfied with the results. "maybe that jaebum guy is actually nice, but i don't really give a fuck." he smiled, floating his way towards the living room to pick up the romance book he was reading and acting like nothing happened. "i'm the one living here with him, so suck it up, bitch."
meanwhile, taehyung got out of the shower and went quickly to his room, drying his body while looking at his closet with a frown. what the hell am i supposed to wear?
at the end, he decided to keep it casual and put on a normal black polo with short jeans and his black converses, since he wasn't going out to a fancy restaurant or anything. it was literally his house, he could even wear his pajamas and no one could judge him.
he styled his hair and sprayed his cologne, satisfied with how he looked, winking at the mirror and blowing a kiss. after his little self-love moment, he remembered he was in a rush, so he went downstairs and hid the boxes of treasures under the couch. "is there any other weird stuff i have to hide?"
"well, i'm pretty sure he can't see me, so you're fine." jungkook answered, turning to the next page of the book calmly. taehyung laughed at that, shaking his head and sitting on the couch to take a break.
"you're not weird, kook. you're just... special." he chuckled, jungkook finally looking down at taehyung. he looked so handsome, the younger couldn't help to look at him for way longer than he should. the silver haired boy looked back at him after gaining the courage, both of them staring back at each other's eyes without saying a thing.
unfortunately, a knock on the door interrupted their little moment, jungkook sighing softly and placing the book on the glass table, not wanting to scare the boy just yet. "you look pretty." he simply said, taehyung smiling and thanking him shyly. he then took a deep breath and walked to the door, smiling widely and opening it to find jaesung in front of it.
"hey, tae!" he waved, taehyung waving back and allowing him to come in. jungkook noticed that his eyes would end up falling from their place because of how much he's going to roll them today. "woah, your house is beautiful!"
"thank you!" he chuckled, allowing the boy to look around.
jungkook took a look at the jaehyung guy. he was just a normal black haired boy with pale skin and annoying wide smile. seriously, nothing special.
"so, is it haunted?" jaesung joked, taehyung laughing awkwardly while shaking his head, his eyes subconsciously moving directly at jungkook's direction.
"of course it's not! i wouldn't be living here otherwise." he said, jaesung laughing at his words and naively believing him.
jungkook tested out his luck and said the first word that came into his mind, shouting dumbass!, which startled taehyung but jaesung was completely unfazed by it.
"oh, he can't hear me either? that's interesting." he said, taehyung trying to ignore him while jaesung admired the living room's paintings. "what do you mean the house isn't haunted? are you ashamed of me, tae?" he faked sadness, drawing a pout on his mouth, taehyung squinting his eyes at his direction as a way of scolding.
"well, are you hungry? i can make us dinner." jaesung offered, taehyung looking back at him quickly and nodding. "can you show me the way to your kitchen?"
"can you show me the way to your kitchen?" jungkook imitated his words with a goofy voice, taehyung pressing his lips together in a thin line while walking ahead, jaesung and the ghost following after him.
"it looks so cool." the black haired boy gasped, looking at the crystal glasses and porcelain plates that were displayed on the shelves.
jaesung looked around for ingredients on the fridge, but at the end taehyung decided to just do some instant noodles to safe them time. while the boy was opening the noodles packages, jungkook decided that it was time for operation getting rid of that annoying ass boy so jungkook doesn't die completely of jealousy to start.
so, as jaesung was watching the noodles boil, he casually placed himself by his side, taehyung too busy placing their plates and glasses on the table to see him.
and magically, a wooden spoon fell right in front of jaesung's eyes.
