"𝕋his is so romantic." seokjin cried out, watching how the younger boys hugged each other tightly with happy tears on their faces. "i think i should write a story about this, i'd be a millionaire.""guys, not to interrupt this amazing moment, but... who told us the location of the witch? it was more than clear that it wasn't her, because it said how to defeat her..." namjoon suddenly remembered, all of them now frowning confused.
but it all made sense when the black cat with shiny emerald eyes, who's been staring at everything that happened while sitting on the throne, finished licking her paw uninterestingly and stood up from her place, gracefully walking away without looking back.
"oh, thank you?"
"i can't believe you're here." taehyung whispered, the two boys being immersed once again in their own little bubble. "you don't know how happy i am right now."
"i'm twice as happy as you are, tae." jungkook chuckled, grabbing the older's right hand and interlocking their fingers lovingly. "well, we both did as we promised. should we make another promise now?"
"promise me you won't leave me." he mumbled, caressing the back of jungkook's hand with his thumb, fondly looking at the tattoos that decorated the area. "at least not yet."
"let's both promise that." he smiled, kissing his cheek and helping him stand up from the floor. "well, i think it's time to get out of here."

after going to his parents' house and finally being able to hug them and tell them that he was okay, taehyung and jungkook entered the older's house with a tired sigh. that sure was a long day.
"do you plan on staying here?" jungkook asked, both boys walking up the stairs. they would take a shower later, right now, they just wanted to at least take a nap after that exhausting journey.
"where else would i go? i live here." he shrugged, letting himself be guided to his room by jungkook's hand holding his own.
once they laid in bed, jungkook instantly hugged him and placed the older's face on his chest, hiding his nose on those silver locks and finally inhaling the scent that he's been dreading to discover. coconut.
"you know, my apartment is big enough for two people." he mumbled, caressing taehyung's arm softly while closing his eyes. "we've been roommates for some time now, why should we stop the tradition?"
"tradition?" taehyung chuckled, closing his eyes too and hugging jungkook back just as tightly. he was surprised, since the younger's body was exactly like it was when he went to the supermarket, as if nothing actually happened. he had the same addictive cologne that made taehyung hum in satisfaction when he took a deep breath. "well, i'll have to think about it. but it'd be nice to share the rent with someone else..."
"i can share with you anything you please." the younger said, making taehyung laugh at his words. "but seriously, i hope you say yes."
"maybe my answer is a yes. but, you'll have to give me a kiss to confirm it."
the younger chuckled at that, taehyung getting away from his chest to look at him properly. jungkook grabbed his cheeks delicately, staring at his beautiful brown eyes for some seconds, until he lowered his head and finally connected their lips in a deep, loving kiss.
it was like a mixture of feelings and sensations exploded inside of their bodies. they waited so long for this and it was finally happening; they really couldn't be any more happier. their lips connected as if they were made for each other, they just wanted to forget about everything else and keep kissing each other's lips forever.
when they ran out of breath, they broke the kiss and placed their foreheads together, their eyes still closed and a lovestruck smile plastered on their faces.
"should we be roommates that fall in love and live happily every after?"
"aren't we already?" jungkook chuckled, caressing taehyung's cheek with his thumb. "it doesn't matter if we're roommates or not. i just want you in my life, even if it's for an hour a day."
"i'll move in with you, i already got too used to have you around all day." taehyung said, jungkook's smile growing bigger at that. he received a long, deep kiss for that, the younger wrapping his arms around his waist and the older doing the same with his neck. when they broke the kiss, taehyung continued talking. "plus, i've already had enough haunted shit going on."
"yeah, let's not fight with a witch for a while." he said, taehyung chuckling and hiding his face on the younger's neck. "you're so warm, it was a torture not being able to be this close to you." he whispered, hiding his face once again in the older's silver locks.
"it's all okay now, kookie." he reassured, caressing jungkook's nape with his thumbs softly. "nothing will keep us apart now, i promise."
and that night, after every single crazy thing that happened to our young main characters, they made those simple but meaningful promises; they'll never leave each other and nothing will keep them apart.
they were boys that were just starting to know about real love, they still needed to learn a lot about their feelings and about each other. but they'll do it together.
after meeting each other while one was a human and the other was a ghost, being scared by a chair that moved on its own, the younger scaring away a possible love interest of the older, a doll looking at them with evil dark eyes, being haunted by a witch and being helped by a cat, it's just right that they enjoy a happily every after, right?
